Missed the game, who in the world was guarding Lonzo? 36 points, he didn't even get close to that at UCLA. 9-12 on 2's plus 12 FTA's tells me he must have been driving to the rim all game. not bad a triple 11 in his prior game, then sits out and comes back with 36 8 and 11 assists.

From ESPN's highlights looks like he was mainly guarded by Larry Drew Jr

I watched and it was basically all drives to the basket and transition hoops. It basically was him playing just like he did at UCLA. He only shot 3 of 10 from 3 but the threes he hit were also in transition.

I really focused on his rebounding and basically he isn't looking to lead the break. He is trying to get the rebound and toss it length of the court for an easy score. Happened twice.

As Sweet D said, his assists are being scored in the most generous of light but even a critical eye would have given him 6 or 7.

Haven't seen the game but he got another triple double tonight despite again not shooting well 6-20 2-10 on threes. 16 points 10 boards 12 assists. They said earlier today he had the only triple double and the highest single scoring game in Las Vegas, not sure if anybody did either in the earlier SL and now he has a 2nd triple double.

The outside shot is still a concern he's not shooting well from 3, and he's still having some issues on defense. i watched the 36 point game today, he had some issues with guarding Larry Drew, obviously more than made up for it on the other end.

SL but so far the vaunted rookie class is showing out well. Fox has been great before he got hurt, Dennis Smith putting up big point numbers, Tatum and Josh Jackson looking really good and Lonzo has certainly had success.

Donovan Mitchell had 37 in a game this year. I believe the record is 38 or 39 though.

His college numbers were crazy good, he has range on his shot, a monster on the glass... he even passes really well for a big. Another guy whom if he was, literally, an inch and a half taller would probably have gone in the top 6 or 7 picks.

There were some metrics guys predicting Swanigan would be a positive surprise.
The biggest knock on him was he wasn't quick twitch or explosive but he sure as hell is skilled. Could be dark horse ROY candidate if POR gives him playing time.

He is a below the rim, highly skilled, Al Jefferson, Luis Scola type of player. Actually, in the same way Big Sauce is good.
