A quality win vs. Cal State Fullerton tonight, 6-5. Going for the sweep of the two-game series tomorrow. I'm definitely going to a few games this season. I love that I can get in free to watch this team.

Todays Baseball America Poll has us at 3. Jumped up 7 spots from 10, sweet. They said that they didnt want to reward us for 7 wins coming against 2 teams that are a combined 7-30? Those were the first 7 wins of the season and we have won 13 since, and still havent lost.

I have heard nothing of this, and I like to think I follow ASU pretty close. Ill try and dig something up on this, but Im going with fake, as that would be all over the news.

I heard it from someone who works on the team...Maybe they are keeping it quiet...oops.

If it were to take affect this year, wouldnt they need to annouce that? I dont know the way the NCAA rules work on post season bans. It would be a shame for this team to not be able to go to Omaha.

EDIT: The NCAA is not meeting until August to discuss said violations. So one would assume that as of now there are no sanctions.

That's good to hear. With how we're playing, it'll be great to have that opportunity in Omaha... Of course, hopefully part of the punishment isn't to take away whatever we achieve this season.

All is right again in College Baseball as ASU takes the series with a game 3 win in Tucson, 4-2.

Good series win...now three games ahead of the second place team in the Pac-10, UCLA, with two series left to go... Spence should also return for the postseason I believe. Looking good

If Spence can return and be helpful that is great. If he comes in as a liability I dont know that risking it is a good idea.

We will see...our pitching is great now, but you can't have too much depth going into the postseason. Hopefully he can come back strong to end his career here.
