ASU plays at home Saturday night. Forecast 40% chance of rain. Field could be torn up Sunday.

But cloudy with a high of 88 degrees Sunday is fabulous.

I'm brining the rain with me from Seattle.

You're welcome.

Wierd weather. I can't imagine its actually going to rain on us. Only Cards game, I've ever been in the rain was Cards v. Atlanta in 97. Just barely raining in the fourth quarter. It was Jakes first comeback game. I think they scored two or three touchdowns in the last four minutes. I don't know of any other Cardinal rain games.

This is Arizona, so the weather is still unpredictable. You never really know what's gonna hit you until it does.

Also, it can be dumping rain on one block and be hot and Sunny 10 blocks down.

If the turf gets jacked-up from the ASU game, I hope all the players really tape the hell out of thier ankles. We could see a Mudbowl with some twisted ankle injuries.

That's because you wern't there for/don't remember the imfamous Giants game. We had a little rain, a little snow (actually hit the ground in PV) and it was very cold.

I remember that game, some friends from Chicago were in town and it was colder in Phoenix than Chicago that day. If I remember correctly it was Pearl Harbor Day (Dec 7th)...I was completely unprepared for that, sporting only a long sleeve t-shirt, I had to pay through the nose to one of the vendors for a Cardinal sweatshirt.

Coldest game in AZ Cardinals history.

I was there for that game, if I remember correctly the Cards won 19-0. I had tickets in the loge for that game.

Coldest game I've ever been to. That wind was relentless. I was unprepared as well and froze my butt off!! But a win is a win!

100%cardsfan. If they are talking about the game in 1998, it was an afternoon game. It was fun to get some "football" weather instead of 115 as usual. I think this may hurt the Cardinals as we were counting on the weather as being a factor in this game.

We actually lost that game. That made us 6-7 and then we won the last three games to make the playoffs.

I remember that Dec 1998 game against the Giants - it actually snowed up north but rained thru-out the game.

The vendors made a killing selling those little plastic ponchos. Then of course you had the people who had umbrellas up during the game!

The break in the weather might be an advantage for both teams. The field condition is what worries me.

Good god arizona cant even get it right for our home opener weather wise sheeeesh!
I think it is perfect weather. I don't buy into the heat as an advantage argument too much. Our record in the hot games shows it does not really favor us.

I hope it pours and is ugly, keeping the scoring down and giving us a chance to steal this game.
