Last year they had the discount via Madden 25. I'm not sure of that login will even work this year but you surely won't get the discount again. On their website it's showing only 2 options, Sunday Ticket, or Sunday Ticket Max. Sunday Ticket is for the tv, Max is 54.99 a month.

I've been looking around to see if there's an online only option but I can't find one. The prior deal the NFL required them to offer an online only option for people who couldn't get Direct TV, now I don't see such an option, anybody know if that's going to be the case again.

Not sure, I made a thread asking if anyone made their yearly call for a discount.
I'm going to wait and see , I can stream everything thru an android box with XBMC but it's not true HD
Someone made a good point, with ATT buying DTV they may just think "well we got bought out so no need to try as hard to keep subscriptions up" I'll check in another week and let ya know

Would love an excuse to rid of DTV. Literally the only reason I still have satellite

THanks. I had an online chat but was basically told to call and since I'm at work I have to wait. I have my login and password from last year but that was the Madden Special. I had it 2 years ago when it was called Sunday Ticket to go but they're saying my email address doesn't exist in their system, and that package doesn't exist either.

Sunday Ticket Max is for TV too not just online. THe old deal required them to offer it online to people who can't get it, I don't know if the new deal does.

I actually could get it now where I live, I've been considering it but they still don't have Pac 12 network and if I drop my Triple Play with Comcast and just go with internet the price goes up enough that it essentially offsets what I save by going to Directv.

Ditto. I'm thinking about doing it anyway. I prefer Direct TV to the other providers but I'm sick of all of them. Too little value for far too much money. I already have to go to a local restaurant to watch my Pac 12 games. I'm close to just adding Sunday outings to my schedule and dumping DTV. And where I live it's not possible to get any broadcast channels at all, even with an expensive rooftop antenna, so I'll be giving up something I've lived with my entire life.

Just today I renewed my NFL Sunday Ticket "regular" package for $170. That's about $10 a game.

Yeah for the first time in ages I'm actually in a place where I can get Directv, but my problem is the deal I'm in with Xfinity Comcast if I drop the tv my internet goes up so much it's basically a wash with adding Directv at a lower rate.

So I'm basically trading Pac 12 Net which I get on Xfinity, for Sunday Ticket and hoping they finally add Pac 12 to Directv.

They're supposed to be required to offer the service to people who can't get Directv and they've been pretty lenient about enforcing the can't get part, but they go out of their way to hide the service wanting people to get the tv.

There is apparently a rumor that Xbox might have some similar promotion to what Madden did last year where you buy a game and get a discounted subscription to Sunday Ticket Online.

I have been watching any game plus Red Zone via my PC every sunday for a couple years. There are "free" sites which broadcast each game and show the schedule and matchups to choose from.

I won't mention their names but I found them easy on a simply google search. I thought everyone knew this by now, especially since I am usually the last person to find these kind of things out.

I just couldn't afford the 300 dollars each year mainly to watch the Cardinals to play. It is too bad they don't stagger the kickoff times throughout Sundays. I think the NFL is missing something in not doing so. Would get a lot more ads in if they televised from like 11 or 12 and started each game 1 hour apart throughout the day and evening.

I'm aware of those sites I just don't like them. The feeds are unreliable, they often cut out, many of them are littered with people trying to give you a virus etc. To be totally honest I'm not even all that concerned about the legality, the NFL is intentionally making it hard to work trying to force people to subscribe to Directv to get this, to me it's collusion so I don't feel sorry for them that people are running these sites. I just don't trust the sites.

I hope they offer it online somehow. I an going to be dropping DTV, just not sure which service I will pick up...maybe Prism. My daughter is going to be competing in the Pac12 so I need the Pac12 network. It sucks dropping DTV I have been a customer since 1996, and I have had the NFL package for years.

Yeah that's really my situation if Directv had the pac 12 I'd probably switch so I could get Sunday Ticket. until they do I won't switch because I miss the whole UCLA basketball season. I called last night and was told to call back in a month so I have no idea what that means.

I think they are being bought by AT&T, the deal is contingent on Directv getting the NFL rights again, so until it's all resolved they're not actually finalizing how they're going to handle the last year.

Apparently AT&T is floating the idea of offering Sunday ticket on their smart phones even though they don't officially own D TV yet.

My guess is there will be some sort of compromise where we have to buy something like Sunday Ticket Max and just tell them I can't get Directv. In your case that might be harder apparently one of the things they do is ask for your address to confirm you've never had it before, since you have since 96, if they ask you for the address you're going to be out of luck.

I've had it online 2 years running I don't recall giving them my address but it was different both years. one year it was Sunday Ticket to go, last year it was the Madden deal.

And again there's lots of rumors Microsoft will have something similar to the Madden deal they apparently spent tons of money on the NFL and it's assumed part of that deal was them being able to offer Sunday Ticket somehow connected to a game or gaming system.

One thing that people were doing last year is buying the online NFL package from another country where it's cheaper through the use of a VPN and getting the feed through NFL Gamepass. It was actually free in the Netherlands so there were quite a few people that were using VPN with terminations there so the NFL closed that loophole.
Here's a forum thread where it was being discussed. I have no idea if it will work this year or not.
