Freezing rain at game time turning to light snow by game's end. Bad, bad weather but that's a great equalizer.

Wow, rain in Seattle.Who would've guessed that? Or last bad weather game didn't turn out to well for in Buffalo.

Sorta...the fans are covered up mostly, but there is a long rectangle hole in the roof.

I actually thought it had a retractable roof like Safeco does...guess not.

awesome stadium shots

the roof is not retractable and the fans are only like 60% covered

it's actually only rained like for 3 quarters combined in 2 games since they opened the stadium

How is the bad weather good for the Cards?

Wouldnt it negate the Cards speed on defense?

Skkorp has predicted disaster with every other bad weather report. So, I'm guessing this prediction is trying to change that "mojo".

heh ... seahawks stadium is one of the nicest in the league ... seattle only had to play at a college stadium while it was being built, not while they begged for a new place .............. :D

Wild, weird, stuff!!

Did the Seahags think that the Cowboys had the best stadium in the NFL or something?

Why would they have an open roof in Seattle?

because domes suck and rain hasn't been a factor in the 3 years that this stadium has been open

the players can play though it, the fans (for the most part) can be covered

in 3 years rain has happened for maybe 3 quarters of game time ..... for an extra 30m and a less desirable design they could of sheltered everyone from such hardship

I like the open air stadium as do most seahawk fans

green bay is cold, why don't they add a dome? It snows in buffalo they need a dome. Dallas is too hot, Miami is hot and it rains. Domes to everyone.

Domes are so 70s. Retractable roofs, that's where it's at. You'd think all those latte-sipping, smarty-pants computer geeks and engineers up there could've figured that out!

When one team is clearly more talented than the other, bad weather tends to take away the athletic edge and turn games into close battles for turnovers. That gives us a fighting chance.

If it wasn't so freakin' hot here I would prefer an open air stadium. I've got no problem with rain or snow (or dead of night).

if it is raining it will probably mean more Alexander (good for hawks) .. however, given the seahawks D problems as of late and how shaun has coughed it up in 2 big plays the past month, maybe it would end up working in the cards advantage
