You still lose without that penalty, right?

I didn't get to see the game, but if you did, can you say if the ball hit his hand or not? If so, was his hand tucked back? Did he try to get it out of the way? I've seen a lot of handballs go AGAINST Newcastle (didn't get called) because the ref deemed the contact was incidental.

I'm not saying Sunderland deserved to win, because they didn't score. All these penalties against the Black Cats is just getting old.

I didn't realize you guys were getting tons of penalties called against you. Balls to that! Now that we have our derby win, I hope you can win out and avoid relegation (I think you'll stay up). I want you guys in the top flight, because this board makes this derby matchup fun for me.

Three days later and i can finally talk about the game...

i think it was lost when the team sheet came out to be fair, Evans and Bardsley have been the making of the team since Jan and to go into this game without them was massive. To go into this game with McShane playing was as good as giving you 12 man against our 10.

4-5-1 was joke but i think Keano did it to protect a poor back four......4 minutes in and the game plan is out the window.

Oh well, another derby game on Sat to look forward to against Boro, win that and we will be safe i think.....lose it and we are in the marcel shipp.

McShane and Higginbotham have been very disappointing. Like you said, missing Bardsley and Evans was huge. I hope Sunderland can sign Evans permanently. That would be a big lift going into next season.

Wow, what a day. Sunderland remains up. That's awesome...now I hope you lose out :D

Newcastle down 2-0 late, but steal a point.

Fulham with a HUGE win. Go Cottagers!!!
