The Pelicans (such a stupid name) are trying to trade Robin Lopez (LOL!) to clear the space to sign Evans. If they give us a 2014 pick maybe we take him? After years of the Suns trying to find center, they should sign a bunch of them and put 5 on the floor next year.

Robin was so promising next to Amare in 2010. With him on board, we'd trade Gortat for the highest bidder, say sign and trade for Mayo?

That would be awful. Why would we trade for Mayo when we can just sign him outright if we want to?

And didn't he say last summer that he didn't want to play for the Suns cause he didn't want to play for a non playoff team....and then he signed with Dallas and we all know how strong they were in the playoffs this year.

The problem is that no one worth rebuilding around is available.

This may be true, however, I would like the Suns to move some deadwood and bring in another young player or two to have a look on a one year contract with a team option for the second year. Maybe a player like Darren Collison or JJ Hickson on a reasonable salary. I'm sure there are more and probably better examples. The Suns really needed a mid first round draft pick to get me excited. I like watching rookies. It's still not to late to trade for the draft rights of a player until they are signed.

I expect we are not going to see any FA possibilities from the Suns for at least two weeks and maybe not even then.

The most exciting thing we have to look forward to in the short term is who are they bringing in for Summer League and what players you never heard of are going to be invited to training camp.

I am interested to see what this coaching staff can do with the players they have or if the players they have might be gone come the regular season.

Even then, it was only the rumor the Suns were one of five teams interested in Anthony Morrow. I liked the way Morrow played at Golden State. He was an excellent shooter there. I haven't really followed him since.

I think Morrow would be a great signing. He's had a rough couple of years, mainly because he wasn't given many opportunities.
