Limited options but Ingram and Butler would do it for me.

Idk if Giddy is attainable.

Maybe Julius Randle.

I’m sick of Nurk, Beal and Allen.
Ingram and randle are not the answer. They are ball hog inefficient malcontents.

If LeBron waited to go back until he was 36 and Cleveland had clawed their way back to be a title favorite, I suspect they would have balked at trading for him.

Also, LeBron didn't trash his former team on social media using a burner account after he left.

The other problem is, OKC doesn't have bad contracts. They'd have to tear out a good chunk of their rotation to swing a Durant trade.
I’m not saying it’s likely. I’m just saying the fans opinions turn on a dime. Shun them and you’re hated. Come back to them and they love you.

Your wrong. I want this team destroyed. All I ask is to somehow get 4 or 5 firsts out of it.
IDK we get that many blowing it up. Likely since the second apron and to make salaries match, we will have to take back a bunch of players. That means less picks, generally.

Yes, and if we get our picks back (which is the best-case scenario) then we can proudly announce that we did trade Booker, Bridges, Cameron Johnson, Ayton and Crowder for absolutely nothing.

In this case James Jones would be officially competing for the title of the worst GM ever. He might be anyway unless he does a miracle.

THERE IS A GOD!!!

If this works I can only shake my head at it not happening sooner with Beal. A bunch of guys on a message board shouldn’t be that ahead of the people being paid millions to run the team.

That said, I doubt this turns the team around but at least they’re trying… finally.

It's about damn time! Not sure it's the right game to bench Nurk though when we could actually use his size against Embiid. Glad to have Dunn a starter. Now play him 30 minutes a game. One of the very few to give consistent energy every minute out there and able to make a difference defensively.

This sounds a lot like a coaching issue on first take and/or Bud is trying to take back control of the team. I bet Mat Ishbia is involved since he attended the last Suns game.
Very astute observations! Some kind of gauntlet was dropped.

It feels like this is the last straw before KD is traded. If they can get to some reasonable play level with these tweaks, they will keep him.

It is just insane, are we just that smart or are they just that inept.

We saw this as a need to be done prior to the season.

It is crazy the limited minutes we have seen Dunn receive despite his effort on the court. His 3pt % was very high and minutes were low starting the season. Now he's fallen to earth at 30% from 3pt land, and up and down with minutes. He is averaging 19 mins and his last game he played 30min. He definitely needs to be on the court more.

I'm not sure who is calling the shots with player rotations and minutes, should be coaches right? Or is there some directive from the FO.

The Suns have a +16.2 net rating differential when Ryan Dunn is playing alongside Devin Booker and Kevin Durant compared to Bradley Beal:
Booker-Durant-Dunn = +8.9 NetRtg
Booker-Durant-Beal = -7.3 NetRtg
Phoenix’s switch from Beal to Dunn in the starting lineup is permanent.

I agree. I won't celebrate this though as some sort victory for the Suns though because there are more issues than who plays the first 5 minutes. The talent might be there individually but it doesn't make for a collective unit that can make a team successful.

This might be the first shoe dropping but that's all. We're shuffling deck chairs now to try and find a way to make a dysfunctional collection of players functional. It's not going to happen but at least this shows the problem is recognized.

You don't pay over $350 million for a collection of players without saying how they're used. There's been directive whether the front office/ownership admits it not. Beal is costing the Suns close to $80 million this year given his salary and the tax penalties. Of course the front office/ownership said he's starting.

They traded for him. They must have known the details of his contract. It is fully on them (the F.O.) to make adjustments either with rotations or trades. If Beal does not like it I hope he handles it well. My impression is I really like the guy, but they don't play well as a group. Hope he goes for sixth man of the year title.

One step closer to the cuts you all said I was crazy for suggesting. These two dudes are killing the team.

What are you saying here because the Suns lose regardless of Beal and Nurkic's roles. Those 2 haven't played most of the games over the last month and we've spiralled further into destitute. So removing them now fixes things? How is that different than the last month when they've missed a ton of games. We're 12-11 with Nurkic and 10-13 with Beal. We're 15-18 as a team. Seems like we're better with Nurk than without (3-7 without) and a little better without Beal (5-5).

I don't believe either are the issue, that's why I ask. I believe it's much larger than 2 players. Kind of like it was much more than Frank Vogel. I admit they aren't the solution but they don't deserve to be scapegoated.

Eye-test confirms that. Booker-Durant-Beal = too much offense, not enough defense plus positional and profil overlapping by Booker and Beal.

I fully believe the team is dysfunctional and these two are the source of it. It is evident in every major analytic.

Wins/losses is a bad thing to support what you are saying. Maybe we are just a bad collection of players which would result in us losing despite who is out there, but that is another argument.

There is already evidence that says we are a better product when these two are not on the court.
