I would have preferred Okogie back. Martin doesn't move the needle. I was slightly optimistic it was his brother Caleb, former Heat player but now in Philly, as I get the two confused since Caleb left Miami. So very Suns to end up with the lesser brother, again.

At first glance, I was hoping it was the other brother as well. Wishful thinking.

The Suns are done making trades per Gambo. If correct, the Suns didn't even get a power forward or center that could help the team.

Book, Cam, Bridges - age 28
Ayton - age 26

We could have home grown talent reaching there prime, under 1st apron salary with that group, and picks

IMO, the Suns need to fix the front office before they move on, particularly the GM position.

They have made atrocious player personnel moves since Mat Ishbia became the owner.

It dates back to the Durant and Ayton trades.

Gambo is saying it's likely the only trade that happens but the National guys won't quit. They keep saying that teams are pushing hard calling to try and get Durant for a discount. That Nurk trade was all about saving money. In essence the team makes no moves to improve the team. Suns have written off the season.

I'd say it dates back a little further but ultimately JJ has got to go.

At least this isn't impacting the locker roo.... oh wait: "The vibe inside the Phoenix Suns' locker room right now is "toxic" amid the trade speculation surrounding the team, ESPN's Ramona Shelburne reported on "NBA Today."

But they addressed the elephant? I'm so dejected that Ishbia decided to listen to KD's request that he not be traded. Giving KD what he wants got us here.

When you play so mediocre that you’re .500 at the deadline with our payroll nobody should feel safe. If they are taking it “toxicly “ they aren’t real pros.

It depends, IMO. If this is new, then I'd agree. Rumors have been prevalent that it's been toxic for a while though. The horrid record compared to payroll and egos makes that a near certainty. It's on management to right the ship because clearly this isn't brought about by a recent skid or unreasonable trade rumors.

Ishbia needs to get his **** priorities in order.
I have mixed feeling about this. I mean, part of the reason KD might have come here is because Ishbia promised to let him retire a sun. You want to be the type of organization that keeps your word. On the other hand, trading him while he has value is what is best for the team. I also include Booker in this. Not because I want him to be traded but because I don't think you can build a contender in the deep west around Booker. Booker is a compliment to a #1. He is not a #1.

The last organization KD left in a trail of ashes currently has a brighter outlook than ours despite have virtually no talent. I really couldn’t care less about KD’s feelings.

At what point do the fans start booing Ishbia at home games? We have become a dumpster fire and laughingstock with this roster construction in less than 3 years

If we really could have gotten Butler/Kuminga/picks for Durant and Durant killed it...oh boy.

I'd say next season. This season is essentially in the bag already. He whiffed big at the trade deadline and reports are he acquiesced KD's desires vs brightening the future. If KD is on the opening day roster next year then I expect a revolt of sorts.

I know what I said about KD can apply to Beal and Booker also but KD is the main problem. I'm not saying anyone is safe or should be, outside of Dunn, but drastic changes need to be made.

I sort of agree in these guys are professional athletes that know this is a business, but that wasn’t my point. once your team gets the reputation of not being honest or bad with players, that’s hard to come back from. Ask Robert Sarver.

They should write off the season. No trade was getting us even into the playoffs.

I mean if they could have got our pick back and let us tank that would have been better, but they have still not fully accepted reality. I think the next 2-3 months will get them there.

We fell victim to new owner syndrome. We would've been better of with Sarver to see this Booker era through. Ishbia was the one that pushed the KD trade through by willing to give up everything that wasn't nailed down.

Another thought: When has it ever worked out for a team that traded all of their young players, picks, and swaps? Brooklyn for Paull Pierce and KG? Fail. Brooklyn for Harden? Fail. Clippers for PG? Fail. Houston for Harden? Maybe
