The sky is not falling. The West division is really really good. I have not seen any player quit, time to start balling. Let's hope for no injuries

We will see soon enough when the Suns get into a tough stretch of games. It could be the sky is really falling because the Suns do not look very good.

I don't know how good the West is but on paper it sure seems quite improved. We got a little better adding Richards but our improvement kind of pales in comparison to what the Lakers and Warriors did.

And Spurs. I think they'll make a strong second half push with Fox. They didn't really lose anything either. The teams that improved in a considerable way, talent wise, were teams that we'll need to beat out for a play in spot.

The Suns are presently in 10th place in the West and every team looks improved other than the Kings, Suns, Jazz and Pelicans.

We’re missing the play in or getting bounced in it on our first try

I almost hope for a play in loss so there's zero way the front office/ownership can spin it. Even climbing to 8 and losing back to back play games would signal how far away this team is.

What I fear is that happening also because I'm a stupid Suns fan and know I'll get caught up in the chance of winning. Anyone who wants to remind me I was an idiot, save this.

There's not much fear of us getting past the first round. There's a good chance we don't even make the play-in.

Oh I know that. I won't even get my purple and orange glasses out for a first round matchup but a play-in? I'm afraid I'll get false hope. This team does one thing consistently, deliver gut punches to it's fans.

i don't really blame bud - i do but i don't because a lot of our problems are unforced errors - how many times can you tell a guy not to make a pass unless it's safe?

how many times can you tell a guy to drive or cut to the basket if they're contesting all the passing lanes? we've been playing our best ball when we move the ball but choke balls when they prevent us from doing so

we beat ourselves - routinely - thru lack of focus - we're fully capable but unable - bad news bears style when one sucks they all suck

i don't even know where im going with this

That's the frustrating part- all the mistakes they make are preventable. Move the ball, make simple passes, move without the ball, and put your body on the guy you are guarding when the shot goes up.

Maybe I just see the good in people and feel everyone is trying their best but mistakes happen.

With how we are doing right now I feel like yea we are trying but we just suck.
Can't tell is serious? I can't think of any game this year where the Suns played harder or showed more effort than the other team. This team is comically passive and detached, on the court and in interviews. There is no fire or passion.

It's a flawed roster to be sure, but lack of effort is a huge part of the problem.

According to this report, James Jones is allegedly not currently on the hot seat. Quote: "From the Suns’ perspective, they believe in the thought process behind many of Jones’ moves, even though some of the more significant ones clearly haven’t panned out."

Which should tell you all you need to know about why this team continues to be a garbage fire. I would guess his contract will not be renewed after this year, so that may be some salvation.

James Jones contract being up for renewal is one of the few bright spots.

GMs should be paid for results, not the thought process.

i still don't think jj has been a gm since ish(bia) got the team - i think jj just has the phone numbers - or the digital rolodex - he's a facilitator and accommodator now - making introductions and taking instructions - jj may share his thoughts but it's obvious - this is a ish show - a complete and utter ish show

I'm a bit nostalgic, but I miss the camaraderie of the players of the not too distant past, most of who are now gone.

This group of players was dismantled way too soon.

Before Kevin Durant shot down a trade to the Warriors, the Suns were set to receive Jimmy Butler, Jonathan Kuminga, multiple first and second-round picks, plus swaps, per
@ShamsCharania
.Phoenix was prepared to accept the trade before Durant stepped in.

I’d rather Butler were not involved but even so, that trade would have made the team much more interesting.
