If you didn't get to watch this game, the highlights are impressive

Booker can make a claim to the All-Star team this season, even as bad as the Suns are. I'd bet he's on a lot of opposing coaches' top-twenty lists for players they most fear.

In other news, I was legitimately impressed with Bender's defense a couple of times this game, so I'll give him that. Offensively he is a liability, but no worse than Jackson, never mind Len.

Well, I guess Book overcame his slow 1st quarter start. He now leads the NBA in 30-point games this season, one more than LeBron.

Many of them weren't easy. Truly a player who can make things happen on offense.

And Tyson Chandler played a solid game at Center. It is funny that Len is an archaic lumbering Center, who is not making a contribution except for rebounds during his contract season. But, quietly, Tyson is an archaic lumbering Center who does make a difference. Thank goodness.

Suns with aggressive defense all over the court today. They made mistakes defensively but the effort was there. Josh Jackson played very good D on Simmons.

Chandler was a monster on D. Really frustrated Embiid. No win here without him. Yes, Poker. I admit it. He is just ruining the tank.

What about Ulis.

Major key to success.....

No James in the second half. Really low minutes from the Black Hole Gang.

But building a winners' mentality slowly but surely. Not just as a veteran 'coach on the court'.

This is interesting about James getting only 5 minutes. I can't help but wonder if the Suns are reconsidering about keeping him.

Only 10 minutes from Daniels, James and Monroe. Those 3 suck the air out of the building.

Good. Without Chandler do the Suns keep the game close? If not, do we get Booker turning into Kobe tonight? This game was huge for Booker. Another step in becoming elite.

I know the tank crowd is probably irritated after this game and would rather see the Suns "play really well but still lose." That's not reality though. Booker just took another huge step tonight and I don't know if that's possible without Chandler's performance.

I hate how these threads eventually devolve about some discussion about the tanking argument. Can't we take a minute to just appreciate what Booker and crew just did? We out played the darling of the tanking strategy, with Booker evolving into the player we've been searching for for years (decades?). Enjoy the win!

Sorry. It was sarcastic. I truly enjoyed this win.

I thought Jackson's d on simmons was excellent. Simmons drives by everybody, but Jackson didn't let him get by him.

Shows what an elite athlete Josh is, and with benders d potential, you have the makings of a team that can eventually be a decent defense.

Bordow tweeted today that Suns fans should not expect a change in James's contract status until the last minute.

Seems to me that there is some trade effort being made. I would guess its about Monroe. Maybe a buyout though.

Maybe the Suns are getting the message from Triano.

It would be nice to see the Suns play with consistency on defense even if it does not show up in the win-loss column.

The Suns have showed some flashes of putting it together against the Celtics and 76ers.

Ulis with a double double.

I know we had that clip going around from the Celtics game with everyone standing around. It IS a grueling game and sometimes players are just gassed, especially on a long road trip.

It sure looked to me like Booker might have been recruiting Okafor some during this game.

Okay... Booker is AT LEAST as good offensively as Klay and I can easily see him being better. Possibly A LOT BETTER.

The thing I LOVE about him is he’s a killer. He WANTS that ball at the end of games and he seems like he likes embarrassing people. Other teams and their fans prob will think he’s a jerk but that’s just a sign to me he’s got superstar in him.

I do think Booker is already more advanced than Klay when it comes to ball handling and making plays off the dribble. I confess I haven't watched the Warriors as much as the Suns so this might be ignorance on my part, but some of the passes and lobs Booker makes off the PnR are more than I've seen from Klay. Granted, the Warriors rarely need that out of him so who knows if he has it in him.

Reddit is alight with talk about whether Booker has a shot at making the All Star game this year. I think he has a shot but it's such a slog out west with guards.

Ulis had a decent floor game... 12 assist - 1TO. Of course it helps that the team shot well. Hopefully this gets him going because he's been pretty punk most games this year.

I don't know if I'd say that Booker is better than Klay simply because Booker is the first option while Klay is now the Warriors 4th. Klay looked great 2-3 years ago before Green stepped up and they signed Durant. Booker is great, but I think they're different players in that comparing them isn't fair. The more I see Booker play the less I can think of an NBA comparison, in a good way, the best are usually the first of their kind.
