You don't remember Theo Maledon when he was on a Two-Way last season and @Mainstreet wanted him to see action nightly?

I'm kidding Mainstreet, you did ask about him a few times. Couldn't have hurt to see what he had.

Quite a few of the raw, defensive guards from that era of Suns basketball are currently enjoying solid careers.

But, to be fair, I wouldn't be surprised if every team in the league has had a few young prospects that their franchise couldn't find time for and went onto become a decent role player somewhere else.

There is no denying the Suns needed a backup point guard last season. Pickings were slim.

I can only work with what James Jones gives me. :)

Checking in here to give props to Trevion Williams. I'm a big fan - great rebounder and amazingly good passer for a guy his size. If he had been around 6-11 and played in the '70s or '80s, he would have been an NBA All-Star. Kind of a throwback player.

A quick asterisk on all this: The 14 draftees aren’t necessarily going to join the Suns’ G League team. They could consider pro leagues in other countries, and the draft only gave the Suns their G League rights if that league is the one they want to continue with.

Oh, I do... but I wasn't counting him because he was already basically on the team, more or less.

Makes sense to have a coach that Mike B knows and that knows Mike B.
