Small ball is extinct now in my opinion.

Suns roster:

G Barbosa 6'3
G Casey 6'6
G JJ 6'7
G Ward 6'2
G Eisley 6'2
F Marion 6'7
F Zarko 6'11
F Amare 6'10
F McNugget 6'9
F Harvey 6'8
C Williams 6'10
C Lampe 7'
C Voskhul 6'11
C White 6'9

This is the biggest Suns team I can remember. I didn't even include Googs. Suns now average 6'8" and have no player smaller than 6'2"

The rotation is going to be interesting from here on. With JJ and Casey being the only legit 2 guards I fully expect to see Marion at the 2.

Lampe wasn't playing for the Knicks, but I think he will play here. The Suns like their Euros. I think they will want to develop him.

I think Amare is closer to 6' 9 and McDyess is really 6' 10.

Also MyDyess will play some center for the suns.

((That is if he can play at all with his bad knees that are supposed to be really hurting him now))

From ESPN:

New York would acquire Marbury, Penny Hardaway, and Cezary Trybanski from Phoenix for Antonio McDyess, Howard Eisley, Charlie Ward, Maciej Lampe, the rights to Milos Vujanic, and cash.

Wow! Don't forget that they also will apparently received two first-round draft picks including the New York Knicks unrestricted first-round pick this summer.

I know it's early, but this trade certainly looks like a great deal for the Phoenix Suns right now. Frankly I think it could be good for both teams. It sure gives the Phoenix Suns a lot of young talent, draft picks, and money to spend.

I am still crying, however

I guess it makes sense. The suns realized that their big three most likely wouldn't be able to compete for a championship against the other west powerhouses. They had to be unerved that if they took away 1 of the tree (when he is in his second year) they would fall this much. Imagine what would hapen if we lost one of the three in a few years.

If they didn't break it up right now, they would never been able too.

Once Marbury's contract kicks in, and as Marions grow, they would become exponentially untradable.
