We are one game away from dropping out of the 8 seed in the Western Conference. Anyone alarmed by this?

Does it really matter whether the Suns finish the season 7th, 8th, 9th, or 10th? Not to me.

Actually, I'd almost rather miss the playoffs than barely squeak in. Maybe then management would stop pretending that we are a contender and make some moves to rebuilld.

Despite Roy's 20 point game, he looked horrible. The Suns should have attacked him every trip down the court. They guy can barely jump and has little to no lateral movement. Screw being nice; he shouldn't be given a free pass let alone dropping 20 points on us.

Our one guy who could really exploit that matchup was in foul trouble the whole game.

I agree that Richardson was our best option, but not our only option. The Blazers switch on screens. We could've switched him onto any player we wanted. Hill, Childress, and Hedo should have been posting him up and Nash and Dragic should have been taking him off the dribble.

Not much choice the way Dragic is playing.

Last year, Dragic was one of the leaders of our successful second unit, this year he is just the guy who gives Nash a breather a couple of times a game.

I thought Gentry understood that if you've got Nash as your PG and an offense tailored to him, you need to have a second unit that plays as a unit so the offense can be altered to suit them. No way that can happen with this crazy quilt substitution scheme he's using now. Dumb, Alvin, dumb...

Dragic is still scared. Rather than penetrating and creating openings, he dribbles up loses his dribble and passes it off to a player who can't create and waits. When he drives good things happen.
