This is a good test for people who think the Suns can be a championship contender with only Voskuhl or White at center.

D'Antoni said that Barbosa and JJ had or have the flu.

Maybe a reason for their poor game against Denver.

So far they look good. They are attacking the basket, and pushing the ball up.

Del Negro seems to repeat every thought he has at least twice in the same sentence

Slin, you are the Man!! You should post the radio station every game. I haven't been able to listen to a Suns game since I decided that the NBA Audio league pass wasn't worth the money. I haven't been able to get KTAR on the net for a couple of years.

oh, great, now the suns play a good, almost great, first half and i have to listen to the worst broadcast duo in the nba. those guys are way worse at broadcasting than the suns are at basketball. man, i miss al. these guys almost make me miss gary bender........well, maybe not.

great first half. aggressive. good energy. wonder what was said at the 'players only' meeting yesterday? whatever it was, i hope they say it every day.......

let's hope they can keep it up.

one good thing about them being such a poor team right now, is that it doesn't take much to get me excited. all it takes is one good half against a dysfunctional team and i'm happy.

go suns.

If Jake would have been ready for Barbosa's pass early in the game, Barbosa would have had one less turnover and one mroe assist. Also, If Jake would have made the layup after another pass by Barbosa that would have been an additional assist.

I've heard many complaints about Barbosa not getting assists and it seems to me that the players are not ready for the quick fast passing that Barbosa does - Either he has to slow down or they have to lear to expect a quick pass. Personally, I'd perfer the players adjust to him.

If the officials are going to call carries on Barbosa, they better do it on the rest of the PG's in the league..... Marbury included.... They all do it.

Sofar, Zarko's looking good again tonight...... Even CJ did some good things......

I don't like the lineup of Eisley, McDyess, CJ, JJ, & Harvey (where is that thumbs down icon?):)

You don't get local KTAR radio broadcasts but I've tried to listen on radio & watch on TV - Problem is the 2 - 3 second delay drives me nuts. I wonder, does that TIVO thing allow you to delay the broadcast by a few seconds? Has anyone tried that?

Solid performance to this point (please, let this not be jinx). I hope they can keep it up and close this one out. gee, when was the last time we won on the road? boston?

Who ever is playing on Randolph has done a wonderful job. Usually he's a demon at getting to the line. only 2 attempts so far. I'd like our ft attempts up a bit. only 11 so far, none by Marion. Though seems they've shot the lights out so can't really complain too much.

How much of HUGE difference it makes when Amare is able to stay in the game and not pick up cheap fouls.

any word why Dice has sat?

Overall though I like that four of JJ, Barbosa, Shawn and Amare. i could see them putting up fairly consistant numbers night in night out and being a nice unit.

What the H is this fascination with CJ? Jake comes out & Amare goes in - sb CJ out & Amare in.

oh, looks like he heard me.:D

All i can say is, that was a great 48mins of basketball. a team effort. JJ, Marion, and Amare all took command and each their own responsibility to get the job done.

There's no reason why we can't go to LA and beat them. It's a mental battle up there as much as anything, hopefully without there big guns we can steal one.

Even I have to admit Joe Johnson looked really confident tonight.

Maybe something to do with that Players Only meeting they had yesterday?

Suns passed the ball really well tonight. They had nice spacing and decent rebounding. I feel that is the key to this team winning...we actually have shooters now...as long as they aren't fumbling over each other.

JJ was THE MAN in the 4th qtr. anybody who can be that good at times deserves to be given the job now and forever. i'm officially a jj fan. one is left to wonder, however, how can he be so good sometimes and so bad other times? he was the best player on the floor tonight. especially in the 4th.

amare was big, strong, and in charge. i like his confidence. he's got an attitude that will help this team for a long time. he had some great passes, too.

eisley was WORTHLESS tonight.

the only player worse than eisley was jeff mcinnis. he didn't do one productive thing. i can't believe cheeks left him in there as long as he did.

good win.

instead of being a bad nba team, think of it, they could be a great college team......
jj, amare, barbosa, zarko, cj. they're all college age, aren't they. jj would be a senior if he'd have redshirted, right? did casey come out after 2 years or 3?

games like tonight's make me glad i'm a suns fan and not a blazers fan. the suns youth and low expectations make me want them to stick with what they've got and build a winner. i don't want kobe. (as long as jj shoots 70% in the 4th qtr:) )

Zarko’s wrist must be hurting – he didn’t get much time tonight.
Same for Dice's knee.

Barbosa would have had 2 less TO’s & at least 3 more assists if teammates caught the ball & made layups.

Solid games from JJ, Amare, & Matrix and a good game for Jake.

White DNP??????

End result was a WIN – I won’t complain about that

I agree man. I love Amare's flare and attitude. he intimidates. he's a lil cocky (in a good way). and he's just got that stride and way about him, like he's afraid of no man. Thats something we miss.

Amare is the man!

6 steals too!! Wow! massive game for Amare. 7 To's for Zach Randolph :) Were these two matched up on one another?
