I'm sure we've all reached the point where we never expect the Suns to win again but if we'd played this way last night, we wouldn't have lost in Minny.

Maybe some added confidence with Knight.

If they want Knight to set up at the arc they've got to let him be on the right angle like that.

I like the way Blesoe is not forcing his game here in the 3rd, playing the facilitator, 3 dimes in the current run, no turnovers as far as I can tell

all his turnovers came in the same 4-5 minutes I think, a charge, an out of bounds and a couple passes that could not be caught or simply were not caught by teammates.

he was pressing the issue way too hard in the first quarter.

Goodwin produces points every time he's put in the game.

Yes but sooner or later someone is going to say: Play the drive and let his 3 point shot defend itself. That's when we'll see what Goodwin has learned.

So basically, same old thing. Crunch time, close game. Other team has 2 stars that score,Rose and Gasol. We can't get a stop.

I would have liked to have Knight in the game for that 3 point shot.

Why didn't Hornacek use a timeout when we were down 3 with 15 seconds to play..

I guess he didn't want to give Tibido a chance to sub and set up their best D. Bledsoe got a good look, he just missed it.

and insert Green and Knight, actual three point shooters

I get that we don't have any good late game players but its like Hornacek isn't even trying to put the best players out there in certain situations.

If Markieff only had a bad game instead of a horrible game we'd win this.

Made a clutch 3 in the end to get us in range to win but that was basically all he did plus a couple charges he took.

Bledsoe and Markieff have among the very best late game crunch time stats in the league.

Markieff actually leads the entire league in FG% in close games and he made a 3 in crunchtime again.

Well this game was lost in that big run in the 4th when Knight, Goodwin, Morris, Morris, Wright were in the game.

The Suns miss Len when he is not in the game.

There are no moral victories when losing, but like the last game - I just like how this team looks. Once Knight gets acclimated and Goodwin gets in a rhythm, the Suns should go on a roll. Hopefully that happens soon though ...

The Suns looked gassed sown the stretch. I think it's real telling that Len has played so much the past 2 games and finished both games ... It's obvious the Suns plan on playing him 30+ minutes / game the rest of the season. He almost set a career high in minutes in both games (Around 70 combined). Considering these are his 1st 2 games in 2-3 weeks, and also against physical centers, he played fairly well through tired legs.

It's funny that stats show that we have all these clutch players on our team and yet we're 2-11 in games decided by or less.

I guess stats don't tell the story, who would have known.
