Feels good to win, the huge +/- different between starters/bench on the heels of Barnes' bitching is pretty terrible though. Except for Leandro who has some how become our go to guy in the last 4-5 minutes of games.. NEVER thought I would see that happen. Rofl.

It's encouraging sign that Amare found LB open in the closing minutes, instead of forcing it himself.

Their defense is still deorganized too often. I didn't see the first half for Amare's turnovers and don't know how bad they were but several of Nash's were quite bad. However, we always have a chance when Nash shoots well and establishes it early.

THIS WAS BETTER THAN THE SUPER BOWL...

ban me if you want, but the only possible response to this is:

A regular season W, over a Hawks team without their starting C... is BETTER THAN THE SUPER BOWL? What universe do you live in?

even not taking him seriously... seriously... his comment makes me want to write bannable things about him.

I can just imagine him screaming and celebrating in his dorm room, watching on a tiny live feed on his computer and people running up and saying "What the hell's going on?" Then, when he responds, with tears in his eyes "The Suns just beat the Hawks!" Those same people walking away saying... ah, not necessary.

if this was better than the Super Bowl Andrew, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

A couple of thoughts. Shaq is the real deal as a dominant big man this season. Amare plays the game much as a strong SF. Sort of like Shaq is the cake and Amare can ice it. Too bad the Suns do not have a strong enough frontline where Amare can play SF and have a role playing PF on the front line. How good would the Suns be with Shaq (C), Amare (SF) and a player like Horford at PF.

Finally a Suns win, sure we didn't play all that great but a win is a win and I am happy.

I am happy even though all the online streams sucked for me today, yay we won...

WE WON.

if the suns put Amare at the SF spot,
the lane will be more clogged because of lack of spacing (no shooters on the floor)

Amare is a very good shooter and a slasher. It doesn't seem like he likes to bang much.

It was better than the Super Bowl for me because I can live without football, I can't basketball...

Amare at SF? Another Rashard Lewis with more muscle? ... That's beyond my understanding.

Amare has to rebound like a 6-10 250lbs man, and hold his ground against those 6-8/6-9 PFs in the league. I don't see any execuses there.

I appreciate his genius in offense, his clutch scoring helped us to win today. But if he can't improve much from his recent form in defence and rebounding, this team is not going anywhere beyond first round of playoff.

Lol at a regular season win being better than the superbowl.... maybe if the suns win the championship that will be on the same lvl as the cards winning the superbowl but that isn't happening this year with our lack of defense and rebounding :(. Good win tonight vs the hawks and hey we are back in the playoffs at the 7th seed

I think bookend forwards worked quite well for the Suns in the past. Just need the PF bookend. If I recall correctly, Gar Heard and Curtis Perry were the bookends.

Anyway, it's not going to happen. The Suns can't get the other PF and the Suns would lose out with Hill and Barnes at SF.

However, Amare seems his best when he slashes to the basket or takes the outside shot. I believe trading Amare (if the right deal arises) might be the best option. Add a young PG that can play, at least a role playing PF (hopefully better) and perhaps some picks. Just a thought. The Thunder has some pieces and the Suns 2010 pick.
