I just don't see it. Especially last game.

Nash: 32 pts 12 ast 4 rbd 1 st 10 to
Paul: 42 pts 9 ast 5 rbd 8 st 1 to

Paul has been virtually unstoppable this year. The last few games, specifically, Nash has looked old and hurting (back) and has been turning the ball over more this year than ANY year in his career. An honest basketball fan would agree that Paul has the advantage over Nash this year.

Nash is learning to his detriment that when he goes into the paint, more often than not he will get mugged and get no whistle. That's exactly what was happening in the last Hornets game. One player would hit him with a crazy wrestling move, and Paul would steal the ball. I think that was some sort of NBA record for steals in a quarter (but was at the very least a record for Paul) and it would be unrealistic that he would ever duplicate that feat again.

There was a time when if you so much as gave Nash a funny look, it was a foul, but I guess that time has passed? With Nash, I don't know why they've started to officiate him differently this season, but they have. Steve has been doing a lot of pointing to the marks on his arms and mouthing off to the referees lately, wondering what he has to do to get a call, instead of just accepting how the game is being called and getting back in transition. A big part of it is a lack of consistency in the officiating, but part of it is also just him failing to adapt.

That's what I said originally to your question as to what time there in Cali. The game will be on at 5pm your time.

You'll see that this would be an easy win for the Suns.

Nash: 32 pts 12 ast 4 rbd 1 st 10 to 57%
Paul: 42 pts 9 ast 5 rbd 8 st 1 to 55%

Paul has been an absolute dynamo and has had a better season. I also don't equate field goal percentage to "shooting". Nash is one of the best pure shooters in the game.

Paul may well be a better player at this point, but I'd take Nash in a playoff series this year over Paul. I don't think that'll be the case next year, though.

The Hornets come out to Firestarter for their intros, heh. That's what the Suns should still be coming out to this year.

No wonder they're beating us 3-0.

Paul will be having trouble with his passing now, especially on the inside, having Shaq and Amare on the front court would mean that the Hornets frontcourt will try to go away from the basket. The hornets could beat us if they shoot about 50% for the game. That's the only reason they would win.

There we go. If Shaq gets the ball early enough, it's like an automatic foul on Chandler.

edit: Haha, Chandler. He's jawing already.

see, they are having a hard time going into the basket.. That would be the huge difference now.
