I wonder, of all the other NBA Head Coaches, how many would keep DJ Strawberry on the bench and how many would give him more and more minutes?
Does it take a year of going through practices, sitting on the bench and being yo-yo'd from the NBA to the minors to be ready to compete?
It has to start sometime. Why procrastinate?
Give D.J. regular time now and see if he can handle it.
Play him at the '2' alongside Nash, and give him time at the Point. With our lack of a backup Point Guard, it's not like he'd be taking time from one.
D'Antoni should be building confidence in the young player. But that is evidently not his skill.
We're blowing -- if we haven't already blown -- our chance at Eyes On The Prize . . . and . . . we're not developing young players.
That makes the Suns powers-that-be a big 0-fer-2. It's a shame.
