the elbow and K Brown aren't playing. I even doubt if Mihm is playing. its gonna be the same second string team. I hope Marks and Pike play decent mins. I really want the dudes to be usable options on our team.

We are up 10-0 right now with the starting lineup Nash, Barbosa, Bell, Marion, and Diaw.

Do we even run plays without Nash, seems like they just take jumpers and don't really get Amare the ball.

Awful small lineup even by Suns standards... I guess I'd just rather see
Nash Bell Marion Diaw and JR or KT on the floor with Barbosa winning the sixth man award:) It's just a preseason game against an injury decimated team though.

our 3 point shooting is starting to concern me a little bit so far this preseason. It's been such a HUGE weapon for us the last couple years and the only guys who seem to be knocking them down with any kind of consistency is Raja and Nash. Not seeing much from JJ1 or 2 and Barbs hasn't been as lights out as last year.

just something rolling around in my head.

also - it seems like a concerted effort is being made NOT to get Amare the ball.

I can't wait to see how this all shakes out this year. I think it'll be a bumpy road the first month of the season and then we'll catch fire come mid-December.

Well Amare seems to be playing with Barbosa and Bank a lot, so his shots will go down with these guys in the game.

I think this team is going to struggle a bit to start out the gate, this may cause coach to shorten his bench. That seems to be his response to players that can't get it done.

Have we run a pick-n-roll with Amare yet? That was our bread and butter play two years ago, but it doesn't appear we're trying it so far.

Man we are not getting Amare the ball at all... Without Nash we have Banks and Barbosa and others hogging the ball or passing it around on the perimeter for a jumper or a drive and kick, no midrange game or whatever, no touches for Amare, nothing just horrible.

I don't like barbosa always just jacking up shots. Where is the ball movement!!!???
Banks has 3 steals now and 11 points, doing well.

Yeah Banks, Barbosa, Jones are taking all the shots, no touches for Amare who looks healthy but can't get any rhythm because they never let him do his thing, playing Amare with the bench all the time is just a stupid idea unless they let Amare make the plays but they don't even let him touch the ball.

Damn Luke walton i hate that guy lol. I like seeing James Jones step up and try to hit the game tying 3 even though he missed it good to see his confidence up.

I like having a deep team, but I hope D'Antoni is up to the task to manage it. It appears that Amare is healty and running well. It even sounded like he was playing solid defense today. If that's the case, shouldn't we be making more attempts to get him the ball? It doesn't even sound like we ran one play for him.

Hopefully he has everything figured out by next week.

Nash is going to be playing close to 35 minutes a game again; Banks isn't going to cut it any time soon.

Man, from you folks' accounts I'm glad I couldn't watch the game...
Barbosa has been playing constantly year round from the sounds of things so it's kind of funny he's jacking shots and missing. Was there no dribble penetration from Barbosa or Banks?

Also, is it possible they want Amare to get his own shots by becoming a better rebounder like Marion? Just a thought, not meant to incite anything.

I hope the Suns figure out how to hit their threes pretty soon. 4 of 23 is just awful. Also, the Suns just got killed on the boards 37-52.

In looking at the box score, the only plus was a nice game by Boris: 10 points on 5 of 6 shooting, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in 26 minutes. Unfortunately, he had no foul shots, which suggests he's not going hard to the basket.
