They showed Tucker talking to someone but I do not know who. It was as he was leaving the court.
Who would have thought it.
Tucker has been the anchor on defense.
I guess i just haven't seen him play, so when he jacks up those 3s (all misses), i wonder if that is how he plays.....We already have Green and Thornton for that
Its amazing how much better we are defensively when we don't have a undersized PG playing the 2 spot.
Who would have thought.......
I'm wondering how McDonough and Hornacek are going to handle this. Tucker has been a huge contributor to the Suns improved play at SG.
So far but it is only his second game with the Suns. I doubt if he has even practiced with the team.
If it was up to me, I'd make Knight 6th man. Run with the 2 PG lineup in spurts but for the most part, have either Goodwin or Tucker playing the SG position.
It's odd that players like Price and before him Knight & Wright both looked lost before they had an official practice with the team but the Suns don't really have a deep or complex playbook. Outside of fast break points the halfcourt offense is almost all ISO ball.
I think it's learning the timing and knowing what the players do best.
Feels weird seeing Amare play against the Suns in Phoenix in a Mavs jersey. Feels even worse when he's actually playing well.
However, it's not going to fly with Knight when he becomes a RFA.
I suppose. I know the signings of Curry and now Price give me a little bit more hope that the team isn't trying to turn Goodwin into a PG. He has the tools to be a combo guard but not a PG. They need a pure PG off the bench, someone like Ish would be ideal in that he looked to set up teammates more than himself but wasn't a total liability on either end of the court.
Mavs are killing the Suns now 14-0 run.
