Wow Robin Lopez with the EPIC -19!!!!!!

I just noticed that myself! Good god, how is it possible? Lopez didn't play in overtime -- that means that the Suns outscored the Nuggets by 19 IN REGULATION when Lopez was on the bench! If he sits the whole game, the Suns win in a laugher.

The Suns need another big. Now. It's an even more pressing need than backup PG. Bring back Pat Burke, Paul Shirley, Kevin Willis, Bison Dele, I don't care who. Just someone who was once an NBA big man.

Minus nineteen, holy god.

Suns fans after loss = Apocalypse lol

Relax guys, get some shuteye so we can wake up do our things and watch Al Jefferson drop 45 on Amare and the Suns. We'd still win because the Diesel will be in the building!

Fun with stats:

Amare's rebounds before the overtime: 6
Amundson's rebounds in one quarter: 6

Lopez's rebounds in 22 minutes of play: 2
Dudley's rebounds in 3 minutes of play: 1

Dudley and Alondo Tucker are the only players with less rebounds than Lopez.

There are D-League guys who can grab more than 1 rebound per 11 minutes.

Yeah, like Lou Amundson for instance. As long as Amundson is able to play, Lopez should never set foot on the court. There's not a single aspect of the game in which Amundson is not vastly superior to Lopez, except I guess free-throw shooting, at which they both suck.

Sarver "Look Steve, if we don't screw up the next few drafts, I won't be able to sell my draft picks for pocket cash anymore. You know what to do."

Amare isn't the problem. He just can't carry dead weight.

Amare boxed out just fine in this game. That's why he didn't have more rebounds. He boxed out his man and let Nash, Hill, Barnes grab it. His inability to defend Nene hurt us a lot more. And his being phased out on offense hurt us the most.

If we don't blow out Minnesota tomorrow and we don't get a big game from Shaq, actually I kind of hope we do lose tomorrow so Shaq and the management can feel the same way we feel.

And seriously are people still trying to blame this on Amar'e? Did no one see Lopez playing out there? Or Barnes turning it over like crazy with dumb fouls? How about those bad passes by nash at the end of the game? Lets talk about those.

Also, while we are at it can someone explain to me why Shaq doesn't dress up at least? Why can't we just use him in the last 5 minutes instead of having him sit down not even dressed. Shaq just standing down low glued to the ground doing nothing is better than Lopez.

Nash, Hill, and Richardson carry the other dead weight just fine. Stoudemire is no higher than the fourth best player on the team now. Once the Nuggets took the high pick-and-roll away, he was completely useless, on both ends of the floor. The Suns would have been better off with Amundson, who could at least fight for loose balls.

I was more trying to prop up Amundson than bag on Amare.

I have given up dreaming of Amare as anything more than an adequate rebounder. He cares about scoring, not rebounding.

He's not being "phased out." He's not making himself available to receive the ball. Watch him and ask yourself whether you'd pass it to him. Why would anyone bother, when he's either 25 feet from the basket or standing wistfully on the block with his legs in concrete and making no attempt to secure position?

I am not really comfortable with it, especially if he walks for nada.

In the summer of 2010, no one will walk for nothing, because cap space will be more valuable than almost any player on the market. The Suns will get value for him no matter what; the only uncertainty is whether it will be by trade or free agency.

7 years of upsets, given up leads, bad calls, and dealing with Sarver I would be out of there too. Nash is gone, also.
