Barnes is abusing the Denver guards in the post. What kind of lame pass was that by Lopez?

Nash needs to take more shots here.

Is there a league for retired grandmothers? Lopez could dominate that league....maybe....naah

To be honest, we're seeing with Lopez EXACTLY why Nash is so important to this team. We haven't had a backup point for years, so any time we Nash is out of the game we've looked terrible.

Now, we have no backup center so when Amare and Shaq are out all of a sudden we look like absolute GARBAGE. Just goes to show important having legitimate backup players is.

This is scary. Lopez sucks, we are in foul trouble so they can score in the paint at will.

good god. I don't think Robin could look any worse if he tried. He's just such a beyond awful player at this point. No 15th pick in the draft should just look as clueless as he does in every aspect of the game. I mean, he gave Linus Kleiza the baseline... and then let him STUFF IT DOWN HIS THROAT... LINUS KLEIZA!?

nice to see Barnes get a little mojo back and hopefully Amare can actually not be Amare and stop picking up ******* fouls so he can continue dominating on offense.

would be really nice to get a W against the Nugz without Shaq.

Suns up 62-56 after the 2nd quarter. Suns shooting 52% with 4/12 3 pointers, Nuggets 41% with 2/9 3 pointers. :)

Suns have committed 9 turnovers, Nuggets 11.

Suns have 4 offensive rebounds, Nuggets 10. :( Suns have 2 2nd chance points at the half, Nuggets 12. :(

Suns have hit 12/14 free throws, Nuggets have hit 18/24 free throws.

Suns have 30 points in the paint. :)

Suns have 2 fast break points, Nuggets 20. Our transition defense is horrible and I thought having Shaq out would enable us to run more. Only 2 fast break points is pretty pathetic.

Good 1st quarter by the Suns, pretty crappy 2nd quarter by the Suns.

They are having their way in the paint. Shaq would put their entire front line on the bench in foul trouble.

Lopez is hilariously bad. Every second he's on the floor, he looks completely overwhelmed and outclassed. The only way he remotely resembles a professional basketball player is in his height. In every other respect, he's no better than a random guy off the street.

We let them back into there at the end, but I think we'll be fine so long as the bigs stay out of foul trouble in the second half. and would someone please not let Kleiza dunk every other play?

All you need to know about the first half:

Lopez on the floor: -8
Lopez on the bench: +14

That’s a 22-point swing, folks.

Why the hell did we draft this guy?

and the sadder part is, he doesn't even make up for a lack of skill with hustle players. Amundson is not exactly Jordan, but he tries hard and good things happen because of it. Lopez just seems lost and tentative so often that he can't even make those kinds of plays.

Lopez is seriously comical right now. He grabs a board, and then throws it straight to Denver. Denver must be hoping he gets the rebounds, because he hands them right back. It looks like an offense rebound for Robin is automatically a defensive rebound for Denver.
