just BEYOND HILARIOUS how this team finds ways to lose to the Spurs. I mean, you couldn't write our losses any more unbelievable if you tried... and if you tried, the Suns would STILL find a way to one up you.

you have to laugh to keep from crying, right? I mean, even when both teams have faded from title contention and are also rans, it's SSDD.

He couldn't just lay it up? Or at least use two hands? JRich made these kinds of stupid plays before, but this one was very costly.

99 times out of 100 he makes that dunk. Of course the 1 time was towards the closing minute of the game

Every loss is like this. Takes two Hail Mary's to beat these pricks.

We really could use those free throws we missed right now. :(

Nash had no one in his face and was about 30 feet from the hoop. That is within his range.

and... even within a game with a ridiculous missed dunk to tie it... our MVP with a chance to shoot an 3 pointer to tie it with a second left... PASSES the ball TO SOMEONE AT THE FREE-THROW LINE?!

So much for them topping you coming up with a ridiculous ending. They just freaking topped themselves!

That was classic. I'm really happy I'm not as personally invested in this team as I used to be or I'd probably put a gun to my head after that one.

He thot Frys would be at the 3pnt line. Can people stop whinning about JRich missed dunk. It happens. Sheesh

Im over the dunk because we could have tied it with a Nash leaning 3 pointer

No idea why Nash didn't shoot and even less idea why Frye didn't stay at the 3 point line when we needed one. We just gave this game away. Now the Spurs, who were in the 7th seed, have tied us in the loss column.

I'm sorry... missing a dunk to tie the game doesn't just happen... unless you're Patrick Ewing in Game 7 against the Pacers.

Say what you will about the last play but that's a little more understandable than a blown WIDE OPEN DUNK. Honestly it seems like all these times we've lost to the Spurs in the last second games, we've had Amare and Steve playing like Hall of Famers and for the last 6 years surrounded them with a bunch of guys who just never, not even once, gave them an inch of lift to climb over the top when they needed it.

Oh well, just one game.

yup... they've never had that third guy needed to beat a great team, even in the 2004-5 playoffs with Glass Joe missing half the series.

What's more strange: the way we lost this game or when Duncan hit a once in a lifetime three?

Nash clearly just wanted to get into the locker room to watch the USA/Canada hockey game.

In a van...down by the river.
Nash and Amare have been losing to the SPURS for years. Its all the mental beatings they've sustained that results in things like this.....and conversely, Duncan,Parker,Ginobli have the utmost confidence(no matter how grim the circumstances)that they will find a way to win.
If there ever was an appropriate situation to use the term pwn'ed.....
it's SPURS >>>> SUNS.
The slate won't be clean until one or both of the teams blow up their rosters.

I'm pretty sure Frye was positioning himself for a long rebound (not that they would have time to pass it to someone else for a 3), but he certainly didn't expect Nash not to shoot.
