Can we just board the plane before the 2nd half and go to Chicago? Im sure Minnesota wouldnt mind fore-fitting the game

OK I am a complete idiot for making this comment earlier, but at least we won

Amare carrying us once again.

This isn't Nash's team anymore.

I dont understand this logic. Nash is the face of the franchise. Ask anyone outside of the organization. Amare is a good player, but he is not the big chief just yet

Whew. Suns win 111-105. :) That would have been a major disaster if we lost to a team on a 15 game losing streak after leading by 25 points.

Face of the franchise or not, Amare is now the best player on this team, not Nash. Amare is winning the games, not Nash. This is Amare's team now.

Amare may be the best player on the team, but I don't believe you should give the man the keys to the castle until he re-signs. This is disrespecting Nash who has carried this team for 6 years now, who by the way is still a major factor in Amare's success.

During game introductions, Steve is still introduced last, which tells me who the organization thinks the captain is.

He has been the 2nd best player in the league over the last 2 months. Only Lebron ahead of him.

The T-Wolves have given us problems in the past with their size, and tonight again they killed us on the boards and came back from 25 down. Lopez helped us hold our own against good-rebounding teams, and this game exemplifies why we need him back for the playoffs. Without Lopez in there, we look like that small team again that blew all those leads earlier in the season. Hope that the rest will do Lopez good and he'll be ready to go for the playoffs.

And here I thought basketball was a team sport.

Amare has been great, maybe the second best player in the league over the last two months, but make no mistake, a lot of his success has to do with Nash.

It is not disrespecting Nash. It is simply respecting Amare. Saying that this is Amare's team now and that Amare is THE man is not a knock on Nash, it is simply stating the facts.

It takes at least two stars or more to be considered a legitimate contender. Why not give both credit. There is no doubt that the Suns need Amare as their primary weapon inside. I agree Amare has turned into the Suns future after the trading deadline. The Suns need to get Amare extended or their future looks bleak. However, I don't know why one has to knock one to elevate the other.

It is and it's the guys actually on the team that have given Amare control. And that is why it doesn't matter what the fans or origanization think.

Steve may still be the face of the franchise but over the past couple months it's been Amare leading the team on the court.

I haven't been able to watch a TV road game in quite awhile.

A question. Why are the Suns wearing home whites in Minnesota?

Thanks

Playoffs!!!!!!!!!!

The Suns clinched a playoff spot with this win as the 9th place team, the Grizzlies, can only tie them in games in won and the 2 teams split the season series 2-2 but the Grizzlies can't tie the Suns in conference wins. :)

I am NOT knocking Nash. I am simply saying that it looks like Amare is taking the team on his shoulder and carrying them, much like Nash was doing for a few years.

First stating the fact can be considered blasphemy and this is fact!;)

Second, many argued for so long that Amare were nothing but a decoy for Nash, while trying to convince themselves that Amare were not worth more than 14mil/2years extension, it's hard for them to admit they were wrong. They had to harp on the non-sense that Amare would be no good without Nash.:bang:

This whole discussion about Nash does not have the full impact without the opinion of Mojorizen7. :D

I never thought I'd say this, but this is a MUCH better team with Robin Lopez.

still don't get why Barbs gets to shoot almost a shot per minute while playing horrible D. Not a fan of Dragic's minutes being cut for a by-product of a bygone era.

Agree. He really provides the Suns a defensive presence inside.

I'm a fan of Dragic as well and like to see him on the floor. It's hard to know how to spread the minutes but the Suns do need LB's offense. Without Lopez the Suns will have trouble defending.

I think Gentry has done a good job of trying to juggle the lineup but I did not like when Gentry took Dragic out when he was really starting to play well and replaced him with Nash... and you know how I respect Nash. Gentry needs to go with the players that are playing well, however, he will have to make a lot of tough calls to keep team chemistry.
