Oh crap, Bender is in!

I was just going to ask if anyone saw him yet, I didn't think he made an appearance though. I wonder if there's anything to him coming in for garbage time. Anderson has looked like we all wish Bender would.

Had a wide-open shot, waited for the defender to get there, then pump-faked to get a wide open drive to the basket, and proceeded to throw a bad pass. :bang::bang::bang:

I like how athletic Reed plays tonight. He is very active.

Ariza and Anderson looked good. Ayton just missed his double double.

Quick thoughts:

Ayton looks good and you can see where he’s going to get even better. Monster.

Melton looked good. For a guy with low expectations.

Bender. Good god, bender.

JJ needs to slow down.

Warren is soft but still flashes. I thought for sure his head blew up . . . again, as he was laying the ground . . . again.

Ariza and Anderson look as advertised . . . vets that can be stabilizers.

Reed is going to be with spot minutes when needed.

FWIW, the Suns played 13 players and all scored ... except The Bender.

And all had a +/- of "+" except for three ...

Melton -6 in 10:54
Bender -5 in 8:01
Holmes -3 in 6:59

Isn't this the way it always happens?

Not enough improvement.

Firing.

That night, voila, improvement.

Not that it should make a difference.

Ayton is very active defensively. Not always in the right place, but he's making a real effort, and already better than advertised in that department. I think he's taking his development very seriously.
Yup I agree. I was obviously always excited about him. But I’m surprised and impressed by his effort.

Just for the hell of it, check out my post #341 in the "Suns fire McD" thread.

It just might make you smile. :)

I know Bender sucks so the criticism is warranted but without Len on the team anymore I wondering who would become the boards whipping boy. Bender has taken the title and seems to be taking pride in it. Chriss and Knight being shipped off kept them from taking over, both were at one point or another before though. I think Harrison should be the backup to Bender for that role but it seems Jackson has that role cinched up according to probably 1/3 of the posters here. With JJ there is 1/3 who wants him benched or traded, 1/3 who say he's young and to give him time, and another 1/3 who think he could be our 3rd star behind Booker and Ayton. It's quite the split with him. I think I'm in the middle now but I've been on the 3rd star end for a little bit at various times.
