The problem is less between Shaq and Amare. The problem is rather between Shaq and Nash.
When Shaq is in the game, Nash dribbling the ball is counterproductive on average, unless the court is so open that they could score on fastbreaks DESPITE having Shaq on the court. The most ugly sight is when both Shaq and Amare stand on each top of the key waiting for Nash to choose his bride to waste another possesion with via p&r, since there is no space gain coming out of it!
Nash shot down Porter's idea to play off the ball. We are stuck here.
