I think the refs don't like either of the Morris twins and unfortunately I think they've brought it upon themselves. They scream at the refs even when the DO get a call. I don't think the refs go into a game thinking "screw those guys" but they're still human, with the never ending harassment the twins shout at the refs I doubt the refs ever feel like they owe the twins a makeup call (which happens a ton in the NBA).

Maybe it's the curse of the and-one yell? It cost Amare regularly and it does the same for Markieff. But it's not that the Morris brothers go too far, it's that they never shut up. One of them is always barking at the refs. Nothing egregious, certainly no worse than many others, but they never take a break and the refs never give them one in return.

Some confirmation the referees missed some calls last night that would have benefited the Suns. Bogut made two fouls in the last two minutes that were not called. It looks like they may have cost the Suns a victory.

The Warriors like to have fun. The referees well...

NBA: Ref missed 2 Bogut fouls

If a game is within five points at the two-minute mark, the NBA began publicizing an officiating review of that time span's calls.

For Thursday's night's 107-106 Suns loss, there were two calls ruled incorrect in the final two minutes and each one went against the Suns and preceded Golden State 3-pointers.

When Klay Thompson made a 3 to tie the game with 35 seconds to go, Warriors center Andrew Bogut moved on a screen by backing into Thompson's defender, Archie Goodwin. Before Stephen Curry's go-ahead 3 with 6.8 seconds to go, Bogut shoved P.J. Tucker in the back to get an offensive rebound.

The thing is, there's a huge difference between "missing" a foul and just deciding not to call it. Everyone expects the officials to let more things go during crunch time. What has always bothered me is that the players have to guess what is a foul and what isn't, and those who have a knack for guessing right -- or for influencing the officials to endorse their guess -- are the ones who succeed. If I were an NBA player, it would drive me crazy being unable to predict which fouls would or wouldn't be called.

I've always thought the referees should be consistent in calling fouls the same way for both teams. The Suns were not getting the calls even before the two minute mark. If a referee misses a foul or decides not to make the call it is bad for the game. In years past, I used to see referees do make-up calls. I could understand it in a way, but I'm not seeing the Suns get the benefit of these calls. Certainly I don't think referees should decide the game in the last two minutes.

I'm not sure what you're point is but I think the refs should do their job from the tip to the final buzzer.

I think the referees should call the game consistently for the entire game and not swallow their whistle in the final 2 minutes. IMO, some referees do not want to make calls in the final minutes for fear they will determine the outcome of the game, which by doing so, they determine the outcome of the game. I can only imagine the uproar from Warrior fans if the referees had made the correct calls during the final 2 minutes. The Suns seldom get an advantage when the referees enter the let them play mode.
