Nice win after a poor first half. Pietrus got the start and finished with 20/8, Frye with another big game 20/9, Nash with 13 assists despite a lot of turnovers early.

Now Brooks didn't really play as bad as this line will suggest:

Suns with Nash on the floor: +26
Suns with Nash on the bench: -12

This disparity is more indicative of how well the Suns played with Nash in the second half. Nash only played 28 minutes, so to outscore your opponent by almost a point per minute in that span is pretty amazing.

Up until this game the announcers said the Bucks were 4-4 against the West. Hard to believe.

lol at Leander's comments with the sun's last possession - not pulling a "Rondo"

Is it me or does Frye just look really really tired? He had a lot more energy a few days back.
I commented in another post about how the Suns are wearing out, not only Nash, but Gortat and Frye as well.

Time management is lacking and we can see it taking its toll on our two best players (and Frye, too).

According to the reports, the Suns tried. But no one wanted The Robin.

There was a trade that never got close for a true PF. That's it. We weren't just trying to get rid of Robin.

Although you have obsessed with the Suns size for years, you want us to get rid of a legit backup C. I don't get it.

If we had traded drunkin Robin, we wouldn't be starting him. I was all about keeping Slopez, but not if we are starting his stupid ass.

Tonight's game vs. Milwaukee, with The Robin getting all the minutes alongside Steve until they both went out (and Robin's total production of 3 points and 1 rebound for the game) illustrates the obvious.

We could pickup a backup Center replacement for The Robin's 12 minutes per game without too much trouble.

Size at Center - yes. No NBA skills - unacceptable. Especially during Nash's only minutes in the first quarter. How to neutralize a fatigued Point Guard. Ugh!

Robin had a bad game no question but he's a backup level C. Like everyone else on the Suns Gortat wasn't exactly lighting it up in the first half. Getting the majority of the mins and only 2 boards is UNACCEPTABLE.

How many times do I have to say it? Playing Gortat for 17 or 18 consecutive minutes every half is wearing him down.

Starter minutes should work a starter schedule, damnit. He can't be both without its taking its toll.

That is UNACCEPTABLE (unquote).

Give it a rest! I'm so sick and tired of your same rhetoric over and over. It's pretty ridiculous and just a bit childish. We get it. You think Gortat is the best big man in the NBA and Lopez the worst big man in the NBA. Fine.

You spend years complaining about the lack of big men on the team, and when we finally get some, you find more to complain about.

And then, the one guy you think is your greatest ally complains ad nauseum out of the blue that Gentry is the worst coach ever. And then proceeds to promise not to post and then posts more than ever. Make up your minds!

If we can win on Sunday against OKC, then our chances of making the playoffs are good.

WOW! Just because he is the best big on our team doesn't mean we think... nevermind, doesn't matter.

I am disappointed by your response.

If you're sick and tired of my "childish" points of view concerning the misuse of Gortat, and its developing implications day by day, that's fine.

I wonder what our other posters think about you disputing others' points of view with insults.

Apparently bad weather is not the only thing that travels across the desert from the land of the Lakers. :D

Now you've lowered me to your level of sarcasm. I'll try to not let that happen again.

Chaplin, why would I "give a rest" to hoping for the best for my hometown team? When I see comments with which I agree, or disagree, I respond.

I'm not going to change my opinion from post to post.

I am beginning to think he is trying to reach 10,000 post in a year. :)
How the hell do one have the time to post over 4,000 in 7 months? .....dont have to search too far for that answer.
I wonder if that is a record on ASFN

We know you aren't going to change your opinion from post to post. You've made that abundantly clear. You manage to bring up Gortat at any and every possible moment, which is why I call it a bromance. You even brought him up ins thread about Aaron Brooks for no real reason whatsoever.

We all like Gortat and know that he's a big part of the season turnaround. No question but you take it to another level.

Don't look now, but since that first Boston game this team has gone 12 and 4.

IMO these personal issues shouldn't exist. Either debate the subject or don't. If you identify an immovable difference of opinion move on. Lifes too short.
