I saw that headline before I saw the score, but my first thought was, "Great. We lost by 40 again." Surprised it was only 10.
Yes but it was only by 10...while scoring 132 on the Suns. The Buck shot almost 60% from 3 and almost 70% from 2. That has to be one of the worst defensive performances in Suns history. I have not looked it up but sheesh it was bad. Even Booker's 39 felt like the old empty stat Book.

You can read more into my quote of course, but it certainly wasn't a commentary on the game considering I didn't watch it.

giannis scored 37 on 18 fg attempts
booker scored 39 on 32 fg attempts
our superstar got out superstarred
Well, duh - that's because our superstar isn't even an all star level player. But even when Booker was at his best he was nowhere near the player GA is. And now, even on one of his better nights (such as last night), he's no more than a poor man's version of the Devin Booker we used to see.

There was a brief time when it looked like Devin might be a solid top 10 player, now, most nights he's not even a top 100 player and that's not hyperbole. For the current version of Devin, he had a pretty good game against the Bucks but some nights he gets outplayed by journeymen and G Leaguers.

yup - unfortunately - folks can knock kd all they want but aside from the crazy magnitude of turnovers he's as efficient as he is consistent

The idea that we’re going to make Booker a 70 million dollar man and utterly untradeable as he gets older is going to be beyond stupid. It’s basically making us the Bradley Beal Washington Wizards.

This is the result of mortgaging the next decade for Durant. Smart move, right?
Nope. Was a dumb move that I’ve agreed with now too many times to count. Doubling down on that disaster by making Book a 70 million dollar man will just compound the original mistake.

book's best basketball came with a multi faceted offense with him being the first option but with cp3 ultimately deciding each trip down court

cp3 and ayton on the pick and roll + the twins doing their thing - none of which resembled book's game - then we go and get rid of all that and get two more books - one that sucks and is always injured and another book that's better than book which also forces book to be a #2 and point book

we were well rounded - now we're a library filled with books

I know it was a dumb move and you agree but this is the cost many of us pointed out. We heard Ishbia's checkbook won't allow us to be bad for 2 years until some finally agreed trading KD was a mistake and the checkbook can't solve these problems. This is the mess we're in. There's no way out. We can either sit back and watch Booker pass the torch to the next gen or see us hand top 3 picks away. I'd rather avoid seeing the Nets, Wizards, or whoever else has a stake in our collapse draft someone like Flagg with our #1 pick.

The game was much closer near the end than a 10pt lead will tell you. It was a 4 point game near the end of the game. It was much closer than the score says and was far from an empty stat Book game.

Giannis went 12-18.
10 two pointers.
2 three pointers.

The 6 he missed? They were ALL called fouls which lead to 12 free throw attempts where he went 11 of 12.

This is making the numbers work...I dont have true numbers for and1's and such.

That is virtually 18-18 on his night. That is insane.

And anyone calling Giannis a star is unselling his value. He's the best PF in the game and has been since Duncan. A true generational talent who is unguardable and unstoppable.

they don't count it as a missed or *attempted field goal when the shooter is fouled

*unless they make it lol

it's how players can go perfect from the field and the line
