I think the Suns are planning to add a player to their roster. Perhaps Juwan Evans or someone else.

I liked the person, but he didn't bring the intensity you need at the position to anchor the D for the last 2 + seasons. Prolly like was said wanted to be moved earlier and began to mail it in more often. Don't think he was all that important in the development of Ayton, maybe the opposite.

I wonder if we'll find that Chandler had more in the tank than he let on. He (IMO) stopped giving full effort shortly after our back to back games in Mexico the season before last. I forget exactly what happened but we'd started playing better, there was even some delusional talk about a possible playoff push and Bledsoe plus Chandler were leading the way for us.

We followed Mexico City with a bad 5 or 6 game stretch (including an East Coast trip) and that was it for Tyson and for us. We won maybe 5 of the next 20 games. Anyway, he rarely jumped after that Mexico trip until the final game he played for us that season (where he went almost plus 30 against the Lakers) before being officially benched for the remainder of games. I've always wondered how a person can get so old so fast; IOW I won't be a bit surprised if he turns out to be a much better player than we've seen in a couple of years.

The Suns are cleaning out the dead wood. I'm thinking Bender could be the next to go. It's refreshing to see providing these players are replaced with players or assets that might contribute now or in the future.

Nah. They are going to have to play Bender. Which is fine with me.

They signed Tyson as a gambit to get Aldridge. It didn't work. If he wants out and has not been playing hard, he is a locker room weight, not a help.

I wonder, if he agrees to a buyout, would he do it for another team (immediately). We still might be able to trade him for something.

i'll be happy to see Ayton more and Chandler never, but with Bender essentially set adrift just days before, and Anderson sucking, the question is who's coming?

Uh...pretty much for two years already. He didn't want to be here. It was obvious.

It is going to be interesting to hear what Chandler says about this team after he leaves. They gave him a chance to leave a while ago and he chose to stay. But he was a buddy of Earl Watson, so I can see how he would be a bit sal

Well. He is going to the Lakers.

The Warriors are sure screwed now.

You might be right but I have not seen anything encouraging from Bender. He might be filler in a trade if the right one comes along.

Like you say he had a chance to leave earlier so hopefully he does not bad mouth the Suns. It's kind of weird Nash and Chandler going to the Lakers. Maybe these two teams work more closely than one would think.

How could he bad mouth us? We paid him off and allowed him to go home and play with LeBron.

Since it is a buyout I think things will be all right. As you say, the Suns are giving him what he wants. I guess it's the way the Morris brothers and Bledsoe left that always gives me concern.

I kind of wonder what took so long. I can understand that he wants to find another team to play for but that's not our problem. Since he's under contract with us, how much could another team even say in regards to signing him "if" he were a free agent. Is this tampering of sorts that's allowed?

I'm glad I won't have to watch him not jump anymore. If he gets a second wind in LA though I will definitely think less of him. I'm not a fan of how some players dog it when they're on a bad team and then get revitalized elsewhere.

We should have done this before the season started to keep Reed here. Instead he's gone and we had to pay him anyways. I wasn't that high on Reed but he had more of a future in this league than Chandler at this point. It seemed the Suns wanted to keep him, or at least find him a home in a trade.

He lives there. This is about Tyson getting a convenient situation for himself. It is not about competitiveness or that he wants to compete--just more pensioner thinking.

Let's look at it from Tyson's point of view. All the management hype this season was about the Suns ready to take steps forward, especially with the #1 pick.

But here we are NBA ready at only the Shooting Guard and Center positions and looking for starters at the other three. With one good bench player who dogs it because he wanted to go back to starting at Small Forward.

I wish Tyson well. He is a class act.

I'm sure there is a "Tyson's side" in all of this and it might even be the right side but he didn't just start dogging it this season. He's been in coast mode regularly since January 2017.
