The Suns begin a brief two game road trip starting with the Cavaliers on Friday and the Magic on Saturday.

Game time for Friday's game is 4:30 p.m. Arizona time.

Here is Scott Bordow's game update.

Suns at Cavaliers

When: 4:30 p.m.

Where: Quicken Loans Arena

TV/radio: FSAZ/KTAR 98.7 FM

Update: The Suns have lost nine straight games and 24 of their past 26. Forward T.J. Warren (left knee inflammation) and guard Devin Booker (right hand sprain) are listed as questionable. Booker said Wednesday, however, that he hoped to play. The Cavaliers have won three straight and were the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference entering Thursday. Cleveland beat Phoenix 129-107 on March 13 and LeBron James had a triple double in 33 minutes. The Cavaliers will be without Larry Nance Jr. (hamstring), Cedi Osman (hip) and Kyle Korver (personal matter). Tristan Thompson (ankle) and Rodney Hood (back) are questionable.

Hopefully the Suns don't feel the need to challenge Memphis' blowout to the Hornets and let the Cavs roll them by 50+ points.

The Cavs say Tristan Thompson, Rodney Hood and Larry Nance Jr. are all questionable for tonight’s game against the Suns. They all participated in shootaround. Cedi Osman (hip) is out. And Kyle Korver is still not with the team after the death of his brother.

Equally hopefully the Suns don't somehow explode for a win over the rather depleted Cavs. A hard fought loss might set them up to underachieve at Orlando tomorrow.

Was looking forward to Kyle's matador defense. The gay elf.

Sad to hear about the reason for not playing though.

End of 1st quarter:

Suns 27 - Cavaliers 23

Chriss (11), Daniels (8) and Jackson (6) have all the Suns points.

Hmm. The math doesn't work.

If Chriss could play like this every night the Suns future would be bright even before the draft.

If we don't include tonight's game only 9 games left.

This season is one of the longest seasons I can remember.

It's Chriss's once per month "Hey, maybe he CAN be a player" game. I wouldn't build up too many expectations from it.

It's true. Still, it's nice to see him do it once in awhile with Bender so passive.

One can only hope a new coach can motivate him.

The way Payton is playing I'm starting to want that 2nd round pick back.

He has 2 points, 2 assists and 3 turnovers in 20 minutes.

There was a reason I wasn’t automatically putting another notch in the McD belt right after this trade.

You get what you pay for. And we might not have even gotten that.

Not a big L of a trade, but not a W either.

But the board did have some life arguing about his hairdo so maybe it was worth I.T just for that.

During a season there needs to be moments of hope and trading for Payton was in that category.

He played well for awhile and IMO he was worth the risk. I still think if he cut the hair in front of his eyes, he would be a better player. I simply can't understand why a player would risk losing millions of dollars because of a hairdo.
