Nash is pulling a John Stockton.
Marion had a crazy stat line with 24 points 14 rebounds 4 assists 3 steals 4 blocks.
We might have 3 allstars this year especially if they take Amare as backup center instead of forward.
Chris_Sanders said:The whole key to Marion's improvement is he defense is just fantastic so far. I think he learned a lot from Larry Brown this summer.

I still think he will get the shaft for the allstar game though. Which is a shame, but the league never sends 3 people from the same team.

George O'Brien said:Can you imagine if the US Olympic team had a guy like Amare? Wait, they did and Brown didn't use him.

I bet there were many more instances.
Allen, Robinson, Baker?

On first glance, it appears the Celtics had three all-stars in 1980, 1981, 1982, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1990, and 1991. They had some guys named Robert Parish, Kevin McHale, Nate Archibald, Dennis Johnson, Danny Ainge and someone else I can't remember. ha-ha
Do rememeber that their first championship in the Larry Bird era was in 1980-1.
George O'Brien said:I'm inclined to think that Nash and Stoudemire will make it, but would be very surprised if Shawn or JJ was even considered. There are simply too many high profile wing men from Kobe to T-Mac to Ray Allen to AK 47 to Peja for a third Sun to make it no matter what the stats.
