That was a great trade to dump Googs huge Salary, That was actually one of the better trades as well!!

the googs trade was ONLY done so the suns would not have his contract on the books at the end of the season and have to pay the LT. he was expiring, so we pretty much just gave up those picks so that Utah could show that they had Googs on their payroll at the end of the season.

it was an aweful trade

No way that was a good trade!! All the way, Penny was in the top 3 in NBA talently he just got hurt. Manning was on the end of his career, Garrity Sucks, And Suns were winning so the 1st were not high

Penny was injured when we made the trade. as i recall he was either just coming off knee surgery or went under the knife just after we traded for him. he was damaged goods and we paid the price.
