The difference is your forced to eat the pickle even if you don't like it (it's guaranteed). The parsley is optional.

Exactly, who knows.. maybe management didn't want another Tucker wasting away on the bench? Maybe this way they can take a shot and if it doesn't work out, no loss. My guess is any third team they hoped to involve would have thrown in a higher pick, but when that didn't evolve, they took what they could get without wasting money on a dud long term.

I'm not upset. It was clear it wasn't going to happen with Shaq. He is a side show anyhow that was getting annoying to hear about in correlation with the Suns.

This year we didnt have anything! I understand blaming sarver and kerr for selling picks and trading JJ and marion but this trade had to happen if the suns wanted any future... I am not talking next year but five years from now. Tell me, what would have happened if the suns did nothing this entire year. We would still lose in the first round of the playoffs if that. I dont understand why everyone hates this trade so much. This helps the suns long term.

WTF. How does this help the franchise so much more than hanging on to Shaq and letting his deal expire? Either way, the deals expire. We basically traded for two minor expiring deals in exchange for one monster expiring deal who just happens to also be an all star. F*&$ing ridiculous if you ask me.

The NBA is so screwed up. Trading contracts $$$$s is flat out ridiculous. If the NBA wants Shaq in Cleveland, Phoenix says Okay. Wait until Cleveland loses James to the Knicks and Shaq retires. If Cavs don't win it all next year, they will be in the perma dumper. Phoenix got jack for Shaq, but no one really wants Shaq when he doesn't want to be in their town. He doesn't like to be #2 on his team. See Kobe, see Wade. Next up LeBron.

What is really hard to believe is that anyone will take Wallace, but Phoenix didn't have a choice. That trade was forced by Shaq.

Phoenix Suns fans deserve better then this. There are so many die hard fans here that suffer through all the lean times without faltering in their devotion and how are they rewarded? By the team dumping salary and getting worse after not even making the playoffs the year before? That's just pathetic.

No, I'm not a Suns fan, but this is really just crap. You guys deserve better then this, Kerr is running a very good franchise into the ground.
