Golden State may pull out the win. San Antonio will be going for Home Court so there is still a chance. But LA's magic number is only 2 :(

It's actually 3 because of the tie breaker. LA is only up 1 game and has to stay that way.

For example, if the Lakers go 2-1 and the Jazz go 3-0, Jazz are in.

Another way to look at it is that the Jazz's magic number is 4.

Kobe is tearing it up. Still think he'll burn out?

He's high scoring games only work against inferior opponents, like the blazers. I don't think it'll equal a win against these next opponents who are far better, if he continues to put up a high volume of shots.

I know this is a little off topic but I didn't want to start a new thread for it. Aren't we owed a pick from Minnesota for the Lopez/Warrick/Johnson deal? I remember hearing before the season that the pick the Wolves would send would be the least favorable of the Grizzlies pick or MN's own. Are we due that this year still or can be rolled into 2014's draft?

I think Minny has to make the playoffs for us to get that pick. Otherwise it gets deferred to next year.

Suns receive the Nets' 2013 second-round pick via New Orleans and Minnesota (Wesley Johnson trade 07-27-12)

It's the least favorable of Minnesota’s first-round picks.
(Minnesota’s pick is top-13 protected in 2013-2014, top-12 protected in 2015-2016; Grizzlies pick top-14 protected in 2013-2016).

So basically, Memphis has to make playoffs and Minnesota has to either make playoffs or get pretty damn close.

Curry is 6-10 from three early in the 3rd quarter. Run Golden state run! Make Kobe pay every time he touches the ball!

Remember when Kerr traded Amare for Stephen Curry? Kerr was pretty good at GMing.

Lakers have a 40-12 free throw edge...

The NBA is shameless.

Is Mark Javkson in cahoots with the league? Benching klay Thompson up 7 with five minutes left for Harrison Barnes... And just like that the lead is gonzo!

These last two minutes could mean a draft pick for us or not. All tied up...

Dwight sets a moving screen... Curry gets called for a foul, Blake (who was untouched) goes to the line. Fantastic.

Refs are willing the Lakers into the playoffs. Garbage game. Hope they get raped the rest of the way.

Wow. The way these officials have just been bailing out Tge Lakers in fourth quarters is downright laughable.
