Y'know Chap, attacking me is not going to make the Suns any better.

But if it makes you feel better . . .
I’m not attacking you, I’m attacking your ridiculous posts. Why in the world can you not admit that the officiating is bad?

Oubre fouled twice on baseline.

You're right! The officiating is bad.

The question is why does it so often go against the Suns.

Because of their long-standing reputation as a soft team.

Until that changes (which it did briefly with Barkley, then
briefly with Maurice Lucas & Dennis Johnson), the Suns
continue to be victims of bad officiating.

Professional sports is also a form of paid entertainment,
just like attending a concert. You can't separate that
from the pure sport, which hardly describes pro sports.

Jah should be a Sun. We just needed one more draft under the old rules.

That is valid when playing demonstrably superior teams but it does not when they are playing teams in the lower half of the league, of which Memphis is.

Damnit, damnit, damnit. It is because we are a softer team than Memphis.

How many times are you going to overlook that point?

They are 4th in pace. We’re not that much softer. And it shouldn’t matter. Soft or not, a foul is a foul. You act like they are like the 90s Knicks. One of their two big men is a soft Euro for crissakes!

we don’t get foul calls because we’re a finesse team? What a joke.

let me get this straight: we don’t get calls against good teams because we have been a bad team. But against not so good teams it’s because we’re soft? Ok.

Since when do NBA refs follow "a foul is a foul"? C'mon, man, you know better than that.

Until the Suns learn to cope with the games that NBA refs play in officiating, they will
continue to be victims.

Being idealistic is unfortunately not being realistic. I wish it weren't the case.

I have said everything I can about it. Just as the game ends in defeat.

I thought Oubre was fouled on the shot attempt.

Terrible officiating. I try to watch NBA games but officials just consistently ruin the game.

Memphis owns us. And they’ve got more young talent than we do. Depressing how quickly they reloaded as we continue to inch forward in mediocrity.

oh, and Ayton’s stats tonight are a sham. He sucked.

The Rockets are as finesse as it gets, as were the Warriors of recent years, they got calls all day. BC, your theory holds zero water.

Officiating aside, if Rubio doesn't play like a zombie and if Ayton plays with any heart at all, the Suns win this one going away.

And once again Brandon Clarke shows first hand how awful the Cam Johnson pick was.

Booker deserves a heck of a lot of credit. He played his heart out today in the most difficult of circumstances.

At this point, the Suns need to keep Booker at all costs, even if it means trading every other asset they have to unite Booker with Towns and Russell and build around them. This franchise won't survive losing Booker.

Suns played some good basketball in the second half. Morant and the officiating were their downfall.

He used to have soft hands too. Now he's fumbling and bumbling all over the place.

That reflects a dysfunctional Suns owner who won't allow his neophyte GM's to put together balanced teams.
Which is just one part of the refs stereotyping our team as losers, as the Suns have been for the past decade.

Citing the Rockets' and Warriers' success has little bearing on this discussion about ref's calls against the Suns.
