I'f Trae was more of a people person he'd be up there - he just doesn't have the patience to grow with a team or coach - constantly unhappy

Is it me or does a close game like this seem like it lacks any intensity?

Beal came out for Gordon with 5:20 left

Nurk and KD (together) came out with 3:30 left for Eubanks and Diop

Book stayed in entire first quarter

That's as predictable as it gets - not saying it's a bad thing - just saying other head coaches can prepare for it
It’s not that unusual. Players actually tend to prefer it because they know what’s expected of them. That said, second half should be about adjustments. And I don’t mind a coach’s quick hook if they see something off from a player earlier.

Oh, that hurt. Booker missed a FT and missed the followup.

Totally agree - and the pattern seems to be working

Well here we go have to win the quarter to win the game! Good little challenge for them gotta start playing better closing quarters. Book and KD need to be aggressive since Beal seems so off with his shot but man he tough out there getting his nose batted multiple times…

Pretty sure that resounding success convo gonna be even more meaningless than it already was after this game.

Beal carries the bench because he's used to playing with the bench - aka the washington wizards - sorry someone had to say it

You just can’t be a legit title team with this level of defense AND so many turnovers. Maybe a team could be if they only had one of those issues, but both? Also-ran City.
