I just can't imagine him not snapping out of it. Just way too good of a shooter to keep this up for much longer.

March: 40% (8 games)
April: 32% (16 games)
May: 25% (3 games)

basically he briefly started hot, was completely average for two months, had a nice run in March and then has been horrendous since then.

for a “shooter” that’s a pretty weak season. And only getting weaker with every passing game.

This is overly simplified. April for instance he was shooting great for the first 11 games (42%), but shot 14% in the last 5 games of April. Sure looking at the whole month you can fit the stats to your argument, but using context you can see that April hasn't really been an issue, but simply the last 7-8 games have been.
