I'm better than Mulli!
I think it shows more that an individual can be very different on an individual non-work basis than in the workplace. This just shows that anyone, even someone as classy a guy as Fitzgerald, can be bought.

I think Fitz and Sarver hit it off personally. Obviously Fitz is a Suns fan, or just a guy who supports local athletics. Fitz has been to see the Coyotes and Dbacks players, too. I don't think Sarver bought him. I don't know, I am just guessing. While possibly true, that's quite a leap.

Hear this Suns fans.
Fitzgerald, of course, has a relationship with Suns owner Robert Sarver.
“He’s drastically misunderstood. I love Mr. Sarver,” Fitzgerald said of Sarver in December. “I spent a lot of time with him. I can’t think of anybody who I trust more than him. He’s one of those guys, he’ll look you in your eye, he’ll shake your hand. He would go out of his way to help anybody he knows. Once you know him … it’s easy to love him.”

Larry’s relationship with Michael Bidwill is very good. Insider knowledge on this one.It is not just a compliment. It is an over-the-top hero worship comment. Not "like him" but "love him"?
Larry Fitzgerald is a professional athlete and a Suns fan. I'll give Fitz credit and say he's naive.
He has eyes and ears. He must know that Sarver is disrespected throughout the league and among the fans.
And he must see how many General Managers and Head Coaches he's gone through. And the lack of results.
There appears to be more here than meets the eye. Maybe it is just that Robert Sarver is a helluva con man.
And a man that lucked into owning a billion dollar team (although all NBA teams are billion dollars teams
through inflation).
I wonder what Larry Fitzgerald's relationship with Bidwill is and if he has used such glowing terms for the
owner of his own team.
OK. But has Fitz come out publicly as "loving" him (the owner of his own team) as he did for Sarver?Larry’s relationship with Michael Bidwill is very good. Insider knowledge on this one.
I think he went to the extreme because Sarver is so unliked. Michael is already liked by most fans so Fitz doesn’t feel inclined to try to defend him with his support. With Sarver he feels the need to go above and beyond because Sarver reputation is so incredibly bad.OK. But has Fitz come out publicly as "loving" him (the owner of his own team) as he did for Sarver?
The question is still . . . why would Larry go so extreme for Sarver in public, ahead of his own owner?
Has Sarver promised him something, now that retirement is not too far off?

What the hell are you talking about? Why does this have anything to do with “his own owner?”OK. But has Fitz come out publicly as "loving" him (the owner of his own team) as he did for Sarver?

'No need to be belligerent. What the hell are you talking about? Why does this have anything to do with “his own owner?”
He is raving about Sarver as a friend, not as his employer. Larry really likes Sarver. I know it seems shocking that someone likes him, but it is not really that big of a deal.'No need to be belligerent.
If you were a manager and your best employee raved about a different manager, wouldn't you wonder why?
If not, fine. We're each entitled to our point of view.
