How many TOs did they commit around short passes to KD or Book isos? It's demoralizing for the team. They won vs 76s without those passes, and by sharing the ball more with the flow. And, Allen not shooting the 3 himself but passing it to Dunn who didn't hit any 3s all game long... And, atrocious transition D every time they got close to around 5pt... Frustrating indeed.

I dont get the JJ hate. If someone told you this was the Suns roster, you would have been ecstatic. Also, how much of these strings are being pulled by Ishbia? jJ drafted Ryan dunn. He completely flopped the haliburton pick but overall, i dont see JJ as the reason were in this mess

Roster construction is more than just talent level. Pieces have to fit, you need to have the right pieces and some chemistry.

Sure but 99% of GMs would look at this roster and salvate. Only so much thats forseeble, just like the stock market. You and everyone else here would grab this roster in a heatbeat

If you told me the Suns lost I would’ve told you the Hornets had a fluky shooting game at hit like 25 threes. They didn’t shoot well and had a bunch of dumb turnovers like the Suns. I guess our bad was worse than their bad.

It's sort of like the Cardinals. Can't control ownership. Firing the GM is the closest to it.

Is it? Two stars, who seem disengaged, Beal, who is, at best, an average NBA player right now, then a bunch of castoffs, rejects, and minimum contract guys.

I know other teams salivate when they see the Suns on their schedule. It's hard to see why their GMs wouldn't feel the same.

I don't think the sentence in bold is correct, except for perhaps name recognition.

If things don’t turn around drastically by the all star game or shortly thereafter, blow it up, blow it all up. KD, Booker, Beal, Nurk, Allen, get rid of all the contracts you can, see what picks you can get and start over, start completely over. Bring in a proven GM, pay him accordingly and build it back up.

The NBA trade deadline is February 6th. I think if the Suns are going to make moves, they should start looking now. Maybe some trades would have to wait until the summer.

On paper sure. Look how many examples of super teams we have seen in sports that look good on paper but were a disaster.

Lakers multiple times, Houston, Nets, Thunder, Clippers, Eagles. Angels, Yankees, Phillies, Sox Heat off the top of my head.

No they would not.

They see the games just like us. They know 2 experienced coaches have tried to make this team work and both have failed. Prior reputation doesn't mean squat, it's all about what have you done lately.

There is not a single player on this team playing well. There are a few that are OK - Monte Morris, Royce O'Neal, Tyus Jones. There is literally nobody a GM would want to trade for with the possible exception of Dunn because of his potential.

This team is not talented - at least not anymore. They can't beat the least talented team in the league Charlotte when they desperately need a win.

It's not just that they weren't able to win back to back - that may have been the easiest back to back you could even schedule with Philly not having Embid.

This team is soft….period! Im completely fine blowing this failed experiment up. The only players I keep is Dunn and Royce.

Yep the fight is gone. Just a bunch of dudes going through the motions. No chemistry on this team at all. Tear it down to the ground, nobody is safe on this roster except for Dunn and Oso only because they are rookies and haven’t been fully contaminated by the vets on this team.

My bad, @CardNots. I thought I could get away with this against a team that had lost 10 in a row. I underestimated our Suns ability to disappoint.
