The two basketball related ideas I heard regarding Jimmer:

1. As a point guard you need to know the situations in a game. Clearly he was oblivious to the situation. Do you want a point guard that isn't up on game situations? Despite the Booker situation, there may be times when a guy is guarded by someone with five fouls, and you want to move the ball to him, etc.

2. Every ball club has a hieracrhy of who they want to have taking shots. Although he is new, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out Booker and Ayton are obviously ranked higher than him for this team. Especially when you are already 0-8 when the star is brought back in the game. On the radio they said Jimmer thought Booker was being brought back in to help him win. OK. That still doesn't explain why you wouldn't pass to him if that is what you thought.

Am I the only one that thinks this Jimmer thing is just a molehill, not the mountain it's being made into?

It's a big deal to me. I rewatched Booker's 70 point game like 10 times. I still have it saved. I got a lot of enjoyment from that game, in a season full of misery. A lot like this season. I could have had another 60+ performance to add to the collection, and Jimmer stole it from me. And I will forever hate him for it. Call me petty, but it's all I have in this dark and gloomy world we call suns fandom.

I share your appreciation of the Booker 70 but I think you're reading this the wrong way (or at least, might be reading it the wrong way).

I doubt that Jimmer had a clue about Booker looking for 60, probably thought he came in to help Fredette get over his scoring drought. Regardless, I wouldn't have had a problem if Devin had stayed in and scored 60 but pulling him because the game was clearly in hand and then putting him back in solely to get 60 was (mildly) bush league IMO. The Jazz response was also bush league but understandable but on the plus side Booker earned a few fans in Utah by his reaction to the Jazz foul.

Jimmer was just trying to make a shot he's is trying to get some NBA legs. Book has hit 70 I'm sure 59 or 60 really doesn't freaking matter

I don't care if it was bush league. It was. I don't care. I wanted to see 60+. These are the performances that I'll remember as a suns fan, and be glad I got to witness. And I don't buy that Jim Jim didn't know Booker was re-inserted to get 60. Literally, everyone watching knew Book had 59 and knew he was put back in the game to get 60. Jimmer is a professional basketball player. 60 in an NBA game is a big deal to these guys. He knew. Everyone knew. But he was in Utah and he wanted to try to put on a show for his Utah fans. He wants to put up as many points in NBA games as he can to prove that he belongs here. Jimmer is out for Jimmer. I believe that wholeheartedly now and there's nothing anyone can say to change my mind.

Your choice. I believe I have about 5% of the story, that's nowhere near enough for me to draw a line in the sand as you have. Each to their own. I'm a Suns fan. I'm also a Booker fan. Jimmer means nothing to me, one way or the other.

Booker gets 60 tonight against the Wizards, with Jimmer getting 20 assists, all to Booker, and everyone will be at peace! :suns:

The whole team knows when someone is having a big night. He knew, he knew.

there should be an investigation into what he knew, and when he knew it
