Gobert can pat Ayton in the head and send him off to school because he’s ayton’s daddy. And Ayton was flapping his gums before this game . . .

Gobert sets the record for dunks in a season 274

They know how to feed the big man. He doesn’t have a great post game even a good post game really but they use him right and he gets spoon fed

Yes, and he is also a veteran. Jazz announcers were commenting on how just this year he is starting to catch those lobs on regular basis. Suns have tried force-feeding Ayton. He couldn't score on guards. He will get there.

Booker was the only Suns in double digits. Ayton was the second leading scorer with 9 points.

The suns have never tried to force feed Ayton. We don’t run that kind of offense and I’ve never seen a team struggle to make entry passes like this team.

Go back and Watch Steve Nash and Amare. Nash could draw the defense and dish it off for easy dunks all day long it was beautiful

You would think Igor would be able to have a game plan considering he was with the Jazz. Instead they kick our teeth in every time we play

Ever consider that works both ways? That because he was with the Jazz they know what he'll do?

I always see this mentioned one way when it applies to both sides. Why should Igor have an advantage with an entirely new team compared to the Jazz that are the same team he coached previously? Instead it's only used to bash Igor.

I imagine it's mentioned on Jazz boards how the familiarity works against Igor. The players there know what Igor calls and what he wants to see so it's easy for them to stop the Suns, especially when they have a lot more talent than the Suns.

I would take the time to find examples but that won't change your mind. You literally make things up to blame Igor for already so I don't expect facts to be considered.

Then you haven't watched the Suns much this year. Rockets game was a great example. I counted six times they fed him the ball against a guard (Harden), and he either missed or turned it over every time.

Also, in case you are not aware, there is no Steve Nash on the roster right now. Hell, there is no Goran Dragic on the roster, let alone Steve Nash. Additionally, I know this will shock you, but Ayton is no Amare. He will end up being a better player, but he is not an Amare Stoudemire right now.

Problem is not Igor, it is not Ayton either. I think the main problem is unrealistic expectations you have (you are not the only one.) Ayton is not a low-post scorer right now. It will be fine. He does a lot of things extremely well already. Post scoring will come in due time.

I enjoyed the Devin Booker show tonight. We entered the game EXTREMELY undermanned. Heck, once Holmes got tossed I pretty much thought we were cooked. No Oubre, TJ, JJ, etc. No power forward. No real PG. The game ended about as I expected.

We took a center #1 that doesn’t like contact or demand the ball. It’s not easy for Igor to work around that, especially without an NBA point guard.
I think you pair him with a mean PF, and it will be OK. Ayton is a finesse player. Everyone want him to be Shaq. He still can develop into a solid 20+/10+ guy.
