As Griffin pointed out, the 71-72 Suns hold the record with 49 wins. This record ties Golden State for the modern day record since the 16 team format came to be.

I've been waiting all year for someone to alley-ooop the ball to Goodwin and Markieff finally gave him a toughie but he handled it well.

Its unfortunate that Hornacek didn't play (and practice) Ish and Archie as a tandem as they complement each other so well. Ish is a reluctant jump shooter, as well he should be, but he's as good an assist man as we have and Archie is always working to get himself open. I expected him to use the pair of them to keep the fastbreak going full tilt all game long and rest Goran and Eric a bit more in the bargain- hopefully, he will do it next year right out of the gate.
