I don't know that youth explains all our problems but I honestly don't remember a team ever being as all around young as we are. There have been other young teams but they always had a few prime aged veterans, something we very much lack.

And BTW, in case you missed it, the post you were responding to was making the same point couched in heavy sarcasm.

But we brought in veterans who had spotless reputations in Chandler and Ariza, they got here and turned sour when both have been nothing but great team guys.

Last night Devin Booker gets benched, flat out quit on the floor and yet another team meeting.

We overpaid for players that were good teammates in winning situations but they were both on the decline and came here solely for money. That doesn't seem to work. And neither player is exactly tearing it up at their new home. Regardless, even if we are at fault with those two, what we lack is difference makers in their prime and neither of those two qualify there.

We all are but unfortunately it doesn't stop it from being true. I have to believe that the front office will change the mix a bit during the offseason.

We say this every year but nothing changes. But nothing we can do other than hope for it next off season.
