The Suns play at the Lakers tonight with a relatively early start time of 6:30 PM in Los Angeles. This is a game the Suns cannot afford to slip away. See more from the Paul Coro article at azcentral dated 3-30-14. The Suns schedule after tonight is nothing less than brutal. If they make the playoffs, they will have earned it.

Suns (44-29) at Lakers (24-48) … 6:30 p.m. Phoenix tip time

C: Miles Plumlee … Chris Kaman

PF: Channing Frye … Jordan Hill

SF: P.J. Tucker … Jodie Meeks

SG: Goran Dragic … Kent Bazemore

PG: Eric Bledsoe … Kendall Marshall

Key Lakers injuries: Pau Gasol (vertigo), Xavier Henry (knee), Jordan Farmar (groin) and Kobe Bryant (knee) are out. Steve Nash (back, hamstring) is doubtful.

Key Lakers reserves: Wes Johnson, Nick Young, Ryan Kelly, Robert Sacre, MarShon Brooks.

The Suns are playing their best basketball of the season, got an off-day except for the travel Saturday and are facing a Lakers team missing Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Xavier Henry, Jordan Farmar and probably Steve Nash. There can't be any assumption of teams winning seven consecutive games but this win to take the win streak to seven games is essential considering what is around the corner on the schedule.

The Suns' following three games are against three of the Western Conference's top five seeds.

Well I just hope they lay it all out there and I'll be proud whatever the outcome

The idea of Marshall trying to guard Bledsoe is hilarious.

It's Kaman versus the Suns.

Dragic is trying to carry the load for the Suns by taking it to the rim.

The Suns shoot 7-28 in the first quarter. As they cannot hit the broadside of the barn, they need to get to the rim. I think Plumlee should get more playing time.

Could we be any flatter? This is why the Lakers steal wins and we look like we want to be their next victim. No one is playing well.

The Suns cannot guard Kaman. They need to give him a new look.

Bledsoe looks slow tonight.

He does. Goran has been eaten alive by whoever he's guarding. Frye is moving like an old man. Tucker came out and played like a zombie. All the way down the roster this has been a pretty embarrassing performance.

This is looking like a blow out...but still hoping they will pull one of their miraculous comeback

Frye needs to sit. Apparently the Lakers have actually watched us play recently and they are pretty much ignoring him out there. He isn't pulling the big and there's no room for Bledsoe and Dragic to work their magic. Bench him and put someone out there that has to be guarded.

Use Tucker as our stretch 5 and put Markieff, Green, Bledsoe and Dragic out there and see what they can do. They aren't even guarding Channing and our other big, Plumlee keeps doubling when he shouldn't.

He finally hit a shot. If the Lakers start to respect Frye, we'll catch them. If they're smart they'll continue to leave him alone, that one was a fluke.
