I think Len doesn't respond well to positive accolades. He gets praised for having a great game like tonight and then he disappears for the next 3-4 games. It could be a motivation issue, I'm not sure, he's unique in that I can't recall a player so frustratingly inconsistent as he is. He goes from playing like a quality starter that you'd think averages 15 & 12 with 2 blocks a game to someone signed on a 10 day contract from the G-League. There isn't an in-between with him and it doesn't seem to make a difference if he starts or comes off the bench either.

Booker is so incredible!! This is what it must have felt like when Kobe started exploding in the beginning. I always like getting in on the ground floor of a future superstar!

It ticks me off no matter what Len does at this point. He can't make me happy. I'm the yang to his ying.

Seriously, a year a half ago I thought this was what len could be. And he's been awful since then, i didn't even think he belonged in the nba during the houston game.

What the hell happened tonight, can he actually play like that more than once every several months? I only saw that 4th, but it looked like they were running some new stuff, and when booker got trapped on the pick he would get it to ulis who got it to a cutting len.

Booker draws so much attention, hopefully they found something going forward to take advantage of it.

It was amazing to see Len jump. He should try it more often. Something made him play aggressive against the Lakers. He needs to can it.

It's clear from pre season you can see Bender is actually putting in work his jump from year 1 to 2 has been great while Chriss seems to have gone backwards.

Wouldn't be against packaging Chriss and seeing what we could get for him.

Booker is Booker most exciting Suns Young player since Stoudamire

Idiomatic English is so tricky... 'bottle it' means keep it around for future use while 'can it' means to cease and desist.

If I was all in for the tank, I would still want to beat the Lakers every game we play them.

If you're talking about a shot, "can it" can also mean make it. :)

The biggest deal for me in this game was seeing Ulis looking like a PG again. He didn't carry the team but at least he was making a positive contribution. I don't have high hopes for Len continuing to play like he showed last night because he does it now and then - and promptly reverts for a few weeks - but Tyler hasn't exhibited that behavior so I can hope he not only continues but builds on it. I'd love to see him and TJ work out some maneuvers where Ulis feeds him at the precisely right spot during some slashes. TJ does pretty well by himself but he has stretches where he needs to be fed. Naturally you like to have your PG doing the same thing with every one of his teammates, but I think TJ could profit the most by it now. IIRC, Tyler had it working well with Sauce last season.

It's not that important to me. I know they are division rivals but I don't get they rivalry. For me there has to be some parody to get into it... they've owned us and have the championships.

I wonder if Ball feels embarrassed by how much better Kuzma looks so far

No doubt. W/o Kuzma the Lakers future would be looking really bleak right now especially after trading Russell. Ironically giving up Russell netted them the Kuzma pick. I wonder if they would trade Ball for Russell right now.

He had the Lakers crowd oohing and awing more than a few times. You know they were seeing young Kobe.
