Suns Lakers Game Thread 12/25/07

Sigh...where's the defense? Lakers shooting 53.% through 3 quarters. They shot 57.1% in the 3rd quarter.

I'm getting awfully tired of (Since we got the new GM) a lot of TALK about trades but nothing meaningfull.

Make a trade or stop talking about it! This teams defense looks, no. It IS atrocious.

Grant Hill is great but other changes that needed to be made in the offseason werent made and we are still not using players that could be good producers.

Bell is useless, we dont need him anymore. Diaw isn't any better than last year, just awesome.

Uninspired play. Amare not a major factor. Another opposing big man scoring a career high against us. Suns again having to dig out of a hole late in the game.

there really is not a tremendous amount of passion on this team, they have talent but they don't ever realy look all that into it. It's all very euro.

What about your guy? Amare is completely worthless now. Man if we could have done this summer again and traded him for kg. How many people here would do it, 90%?

And what the hell happened to barbosa, anytime he does something positive I'm shocked.

Bottom line, we suck, watching this team is not fun. We never could defend, but now are offense is nothing special either.

The box score doesn't look much better: out-rebounded by 10, Amare only 6 rebounds, we missed 11 FT, 4 late in the game, we let Lakers shoot 52% and score > 120.

Dantoni deserves most the blame imo. Lets let him enjoy the rest of the holidays with skiles.

Bell is only our best shooter other than Nash and still the only guard on the team who can play defense. Its just plain stupid to call him useless He cant stop Kobe, right, there are games when nobody can, thats not our problem.

Boris isnt better, but I liked that Coach D tried to use his post up ability, he forced a lot of fouls, which was one of the main reasons why the Suns got 32 times to the line, Lakers got in the penalty soon.

The main problem is Amare Stoudemire's defense and rebounding, Bynum owned him big time today.
