He hasn't had much luck with the shot of late but I think he needs to keep shooting the 3 when given open looks. Maybe that's part of it. He has faced a lot of double teams.

I just wish like... once... twice a game, when Ayton sets a pick and rolls to the basket, that we would look, specifically, to get him the ball. We never do it, and if we want Ayton to start seeking contact then that is exactly how it needs to be done. He he gets the ball, with momentum going towards the hoop, then defenses would have no choice but to get physical with him or let him dunk.

Difference between this team and last years team is they don’t lay down and die. That mentality has to start in the first quarter, not midway through the third.

That much is true...and in my opinion it would help tremendously if Ayton started and if a legitimate NBA power forward started next to him...
