In defense of Ayton, the first 5 or so questions were just complete downers. About the contract situation/negotiations, the Sarver stuff and Crowder to top it off. Then later on about the game 7 stuff. His answers were short and he probably was expecting these questions. Overall crap questions from the media.

That’s exactly what it is. They got their pants pulled down to end the season, had a lot of acrimony during the off-season where DA tried to get out, Jae wants out, we let Javale go and then just sat on the MLE and couldn’t make a move to upgrade the team.

They didn’t fix what was broken and parts of what was working are either coming back a little against their Will or are just gonna be gone without replacing.

With stars and superstars coming back to the Clippers, Denver and the Pelicans, more and more I’m starting to fear we’re a 4-6 seed. Only way we’re not is if Ayton/Bridges and Cam take MAJOR steps forward. Which is possible, but they’ve all been guys who improve in increments each season, not by leaps and bounds.

The Suns are not a happy team and we may not know all of it.

Maybe we need to be more serious this year. It didn't work so well to end last year. We were better the year before when we were underdogs. Just put in the work and do our business. I'd rather the team be serious and win than happy go lucky and flame out.
